i think one of my favorite failed weapons was the russian using dogs as a tank destroyer and why it failed you may ask is during training the russians ued thier own tank as target practice for the dogs so on the battlefield the dogs ran toword thier own tanks insted of the germans

I have to wonder if the Helicopter Jeep might have been better by going the other way. Mounting a suspension and off road tires onto a little Huey. These days with some of the performance electric motors out there, an offroading helicopter could be really interesting.

The ice ship failed because of cut funds not because it was actually a failed experiment. The system required lots of custom manufacturing tools and systems that they didn't have the ability to produce on the scale that was needed. It was less expensive and less resource intensive to attempt to repair the previously damaged and sunken ships than to attempt to build a completely new and highly specialized manufacturing facility that wouldn't be particularly useful for normal ship construction. Lastly it was originally thought that significantly more artic combat was going to be happening however it turned out to simply not be needed. The DEI weapons or active denial weapons are still in use and still in development. Some of them are actually able to seriously injure people who are the target they however are typically used in crowd control and that was pretty much all it was really intended for in the first place.

Hair of the dog absolutely works but you have to do it in moderation. A few drinks will settle your stomach. And the pain and headache will go away. You will feel a horrible fog all day. Just don't make the mistake of drinking too much. If you do you'll just prolong the horrible hang over to come.
