“Unlike the AK-74, the AK-12 is chambered in the 5.45x39mm round” 🤔 lol

When you are in a fight for survival any improvised weapons will do. It is also better to have a WW2 machine gun than no machine gun.

28:20 Love the little dog to the bottom right of the screen with the Toyota truck pulling into the garage. "Yippee, a new truck! Now I can ride up super high with the window down and all the other dogs will be sooo jealous!"

The svt40 never replaced the mosin they are good rifles but they are complicated and were costly. Russia did not replace the mosin as the main infantry rifle till the sks came into service. Then the ak47 quicly replaced the sks as the main service weapon

I wish someone would mention how many of those 240 T-72 tanks Poland sent over are still operational, not to mention the Twardys and Krabs.

There's a mistake: the DPM was initially replaced by the Degtyarov RPD belt-fed machine gun, and the RPD was replaced later on by the current PK/PKM machine guns and their more upgraded PKP Pecheneg derivative.

The last model M60 US tanks can hold their own against a lot of modern tanks if your tactics are sound. Can it go toe to toe with new tanks? No but if you know that and use it as such, it can be devastating.

I own a Mosin-Nagant that was used on the Russian front in WWII, and looks like it. It's not a pretty display rifle, but it operates like new. It could go into battle in Ukraine tomorrow and have more impact than an AK, since it's 7.62x51R.

You did not mention the improvised air gliding guided kit for the 250 500 1200 FAB cold war era bombs. They work miracles and are very cheap!

I see many parallels with the first world war back in 1914 in terms of arms manufacturing. A combination of (very) old and totally new/adapted designs. Even the ancient Maxim's guns are present on this battlefield.

Personally, I'm withholding judgement on the Armata. Complex systems can be worthless at first, but sometimes their problems can be solved. I'm not going to say yes or no about the system.

when 1 side does it, its ingenuity, when the other side does it, its desperation. just funny to see how things are worded

I totally like our M-60 as it was and still probably is, only about 23 lb., can fire very fast, easy to change barrels, and very accurate. Shoots the same shells as the M-14.

the rpg with grenades around it is pure stupid.. first of all they are strapped to a shaped charge ... so those aren't going to explode at all (they might be thrown away fast enough to kill though, but why not just tie rocks to it then?) secondly, the RPG is going to take off at thousands of feet per second before going even faster... those grenades are going to stay behind. and they would; explode if you found a way to pull the pins as it fired and you found a way to keep them completely secured to it until detonation, but, if anything goes wrong you and your entire squad and or platoon are the newest winners of the darwin award: Military version.

Half of the small arms shown do not match the tags. The "German mp5" was a CZ scorpion; there was an RPD shown several times, and even labeled as a ppsh 41, and the SKS was actually developed from the PTRS-41, not the other way around. Accuracy may not be great but your pointed in the right direction.

older weapons are tried and true. Now when it comes to planes and tanks they won't stand up to modern versions so well due to advancement in rounds and armor. They can still beat them but it's not likely in a head on fight.

The death ray could literally be just that... The U.S. does have directed energy weapons actively being deployed and Ukraine would be an ideal opportunity to test out their battle readiness..
