Not one of them is as deadly as my mom telling me : "I'm not mad, just disappointed"

I remember reading an article about that microwave weapon back in school (& I’m 39 now!) that was supposed to be used for crowd control (riots, etc). But the problem with it (at the time, maybe fixed now) besides a slight “sunburn” was if you were wearing contact lenses. Some people had the lenses melted to their eyes! Hope that gets fixed before any use!

I carry a small but extremely bright flashlight with me everywhere I go. While I do use it for work quite frequently, it has proven invaluable in self-defense. It's amazing how quickly people stop when they lose their sense of sight. It's pretty hefty and has a strobe function to boot. And believe me, even on a sunny day it's like looking into the Sun.

3:14 If im being honest, I think the most important aspect in combat is weapon reliability. If you are incredible at controlling recoil and can keep your shots on the target, that is absolutely useless if your gun jams every 7 rounds.

Did you know that, the Internet was originally invented for US military purposes? So too were cell phones and the Humvee. In fact, many of top technology breakthroughs have been adapted for civilian use from their original military application.

Calling the cornershot 100% deadly is a bold overstatement

I think one of the most insane weapons is the Kriss Vector. On the surface, it looks like an average smg: 20-40 rounds (depending on caliber and extentions), 1200 rpm rate of fire, about 50 meter range. What makes it insane is that it has an internal counterweight mechanism that drastically reduces muzzle climb and recoil

The United States Navy gave up on railgun technology in 2018. A rail gun generates enough heat to melt carbon fiber and tungsten. That means, you would only get a single shot before the platform the rail gun is mounted on will melt.

As someone with multiple deployments, I can't stress how freaked out I would have been if I was in firefights with robots. Being trained to deal with human combatants and human senses is one thing. There's also the fact that humans in general aren't built to withstand bullets, and we can't completely make ourselves bulletproof without over encumbering ourselves with equipment and completely blocking our senses from working. Robots can be built that way though. Scary thought.

Speaking of that whole non-lethal option I remember when rubber bullets were first introduced my dad was working for a military contracted rubber company called Industrial Rubber and they were making them there they also made the rubber pads that go over their buggy wheels on tanks but the rubber pads that go on the tracks themselves to prevent them from tearing up pavement and other rubber parts for tanks

The concept for that new virtual heads-up display for the helmet is badass, I hope our US Soldiers and Marines eventually get gear like that as standard issue.

I mean if this stuff is declassified, think about what they could have now

The smart bullets remind me of that cool, gun from the movie the Fifth Element that could do multiple things including firing bullets that would hit a target no matter where the gun was pointed.

Now that there are many unmanned military vehicles being developed and created, this era might be favorable for skilled gamers

i must say, after seeing the little BAE system video on adaptive camoflague, if one man sees it, and has access to a radio, they could call in aircraft, artillery, or more, the sheer power of radio is extreme, and could cause major issues if used

AI weapons, exo skeletons, invisibility/transformation camo, laser weapons, ai HUD helmets, silent weapons like poison darts hidden in umbrellas and causes a heart attack when shot with the dart or poison someone to insainity/mind control. So many crazy alien style advanced weapons we have or have had for a long time.
