Shannen Doherty’s funeral: Alyssa Milano, Jennie Garth reportedly won’t be invited | Morning in Amer

Shannen Doherty, who lost her yearslong battle with breast cancer last week, knew she was dying and was very specific about her funeral wishes about who she did — and did not — want invited.

On her podcast “Let’s Be Real,” she said, “There’s a lot of people that I think would show up that I don’t want there. I don’t want them there because their reasons for showing up aren’t necessarily the best reasons … Like, they don’t really like me and, you know, they have their reasons and good for them, but they don’t actually really like me enough to show up to my funeral.”

I do not blame Shannon for not wanting to invite Alyssa Milano and Jennie Garth to the funeral because they caused her a lot of trouble and they are acting as hypocrites. I do not think that Shannen's ex-husband Kurt should go to the funeral because he obviously cheated on her for two years especially when she was very ill and dying. That was disgusting behavior for what he did.

Hard to believe that both Shannon and Luke Perry are gone. Dylan and Brenda were THE couple on THE biggest show, for those of us who grew up in the early 1990s. Great memories.

This story is half "correct". While it is very much true that Shannen did not get along with both Milano and Garth while she was costars with both of them, she and Jennie reconciled over the years and did indeed become friends again, following each other on socials, etc. Whereas Shannen NEVER reconciled with Milano, and for good reason. Alyssa is a huge phony.

We'll never know the exact reasons as to why they didn't get along but she did the right thing by not allowing them to come to her funeral. I'll be doing the same when I die. No need for hypocrites showing up who just want to save face.
