Social networking is absolutely available as a flirting device. It is there at your fingertips literally! It may start out harmless but it is easier for some people to express themselves behind a screen than in person...This allows more opportunities & temptations even for people who would not normally go there. I don't condone infidelity & have always said if you're not happy be strong & fair to your partner by letting them get on with their life. Cheating is a cowards way out.

If someone's sick enough to cheat, they're gonna do it with or without the ease of a social networking site. Someone who is completely against cheating, isn't going to be tempted to change just because of facebook.

Together these 2 could solve none of the world's problems. Women love attention that is why they cheat on and off line.

@jubisjubis If a relationship isn't working, end it. There's never a reason to cheat.

Oh no here we go blaming the relationship when people cheat. I am sick to DEATH of that excuse.

People cheat because they are immature. When a person chooses to act destructive in secret, in any way, that's on them and anyone who pairs up with them in secret.

STOP blaming the primary relationship and start blaming the two people who are actually doing the cheating.

I suppose it could, but I have not seen infidelity due to facebook- it's really too transparent...and stupid if that was your method...REAL names/Shared friends, etc...One of my friend's husband found a younger woman...the old fashioned way - on a barstool at the local pub...She announced it all over fb...It became a year long counseling session for her...Next topic..."Does Facebook Replace Your Therapist?"
