Just a Tip: the way I do it...
if you have an External HDD or SSD reader: Flash the Batocera IMG Directly to the HDD from your windows desktop
Just an option if you want to open the case & take the Drive Out: first boot instantly installs Batocera & Expands the drive

Can you compile a Batocera image for the NanoPi R6C? That little single board computer is a beast. I just need to install Batocera on it. Do you know how to do that? They don't have an image yet for that SBC.

It would be cool if we could have a version of Batocera as an application on a separate Linux platform. I know it's basically EmulationStation, but the other versions lack some of the features that make Batocera stand out. And I don't want to install it as its own distro if it means uninstalling Linux Mint on my computer.

Im wanting to set aside a usb specifically for batoceta and also to add ROM does this seem like a good idea or should I run them both separately ? Or if there's anything else to get Batoceta to run better (stronger) on a older or weaker model computer ?

nice tutorial, but surely unless you're installing it on an ancient potato PC it should be X86_64 so all O/S and emulators are 64 bit?

I don’t know why but when I try flashing it to anything it just says starting and won’t go past it, I have tried this on a usb drive and an external hard drive and same thing
