Batocera 40 (CFW) for Anbernic RG35XX H - SHOCKINGLY BEAUTIFUL Custom Firmware?

I'm not gonna lie, Batocera 40 on the Anbernic RG35XX H was quite a wild ride. Do I regret installing it? No. Has it made me prematurely slightly older? Heck yes. I do still think it's an amazing custom firmware (cfw) for the right audience!

Are you guys also having problems with N64 emulation? The retroarch overlay is glitched for me - huge green rectangle ant nothing else (Libreto:Mupen64Plus-Next core) On other cores the state saving does not seem to work... Tried on Paper Mario and Super Mario 64

Press B, go to collections and it'll go straight to favourite. You can also do this per brand.

So I currently have Batocera on the RG35XX Plus which is great looking but takes too much tinkering, so I find myself just going back to the ugly stock OS.
Onion on the Miyoo was so awesome but with the 35XX Plus I have yet to find its equivalent. Well, at least I have a way to endlessly play The Lion Kin...ummm...shooty actiony games!

Why can't we have nice things? We can buy a crappy R36S that can run Portmaster (GTA Vice City, Half Life, Quake 2, Carmageddon, but the quality Anbernic device gets a crappy OS.

Totally agree about a lot of what u said. 👍🏻 Batocera looks so nice but the battery only last me a couple to a few hours. My old garlic OS Anbernic can stay in sleep mode for 45 days and still have a charge.

Some Great Points. 1. I want a Grid Layout for Consoles in Batocera. (this will help with your Favorites) 2. I change my Game List Layout to details but grid 4X3 is nice too. 3. I agree Batocera on PC is awesome, but on console - I can hear your rant.

I love Batocera on my RG35XX H. It works good. Just waiting for yabasanshiro (Saturn). Saturn works decent with the Stock OS.

Ive always loved batocera. Use the search functions or chage thumbnails to grid.... honestly i havent ever seen an easier or prettier os. Only thing i found was the hdmi out doesnt seem to work.... ds also has issues with inputs

Batocera on x86 is a gem, awesome for HTPCs hooked to the TV. I love it, but understand that the visual decisions made for the big screen create issues on that device.
