Finally GOOD CFW!! Batocera Lite Install Guide for RG35XX Plus & H

The RG35XX Plus and H have finally been blessed with GOOD custom firmware. The day has arrived where we now have a Batocera lite / koriki beta we can install to our handhelds. In this video I will guide you through the process of installing and setting up your device. This is a windows tutorial but no don't worry Mac users my friend has you covered.

This fw looks so nice, gonna give it a try, thanks for the detailed description. And now it is actually out of alpha and brought to beta status.
One thing (move of a curiosity than anything else...) In all these guides it is indicated to format the firmware SD card (either fw only or if planned to be a fw + storage card) before flashing, which I think is a useless passage...since when you flash the image from the pc you're basically recreating a bit by bit "disc" cooy including new partitions and partition table. This is different for the secondary card, though, that needs to be recognized by the device hence needs to be correct file system and partition before being managed by the console. Just a minor thing, though, formatting a card is very quick in any case. Cheers!

no need to format the card before flashing, it will wipe partition you made and replace with partitions from the image

Flashed a new SD with the latest version of Batocera and I'm blown away with how much this has improved the overall experience. I haven't tried systems past GBA yet, but the ability to download themes, use RetroAchievements, download overlays/bezels, OTA updates, box art scraping etc. is incredible. So happy with my RG35XX Plus, well worth upgrading from the original RG35XX.

Nice review. I see you have an xbox controller in the background. Does it work? How is hdmi working? Those two are the only things that keep me using stock OS
