Notice how at 2:25 he stresses that this is a weak argument, great sign of intellectual integrity because many people wouldn't even bother to qualify the claims here because they sound so reasonable

I think there’s another dimension that JP has missed, which is the social group. That group may be positive or negative. We may derive meaning from the responsibility we take within the group we are in (and remember those relationships are by themselves dopaminergic and hence cloud our reason). It’s thus important also to consider what meaning we are getting from what relationships in our life, and whether these are helpful or not.
