Vampire: Mysterious masculinity (in the dark, unexpecting, cunning)

Werewolf: Animalistic masculinity (primal alpha, pack leader, strong, fierce)

Billionaire: Status masculinity (living the high life, luxury, comfort, assurance)

Pirate: Adventurous masculinity (fear no danger, break the rules, dream seeker)

Surgeon: Intellectual masculinity (precise, dependable, trustworthy, between life and death)

I love how Peterson has no problems laughing at people, but its never truly mean spirited

I love that billionaires and surgeons are listed among pirates, werewolves, and vampires

“you’re actually blushing, that’s very funny” is one of most favourite quotes

Telling someone who's blushing that they're blushing does nothing but make them blush harder

Did you know that if you whisper, 'Dominance hierarchy, ' into a mirror three times Jordan Peterson will appear and clean your room?

We're always told that women want a man they can fix or tame, I'm not sure that's really the draw. The draw is finding a man who has the capacity to be aggressive and dangerous enough so that you know they can protect you and your family, while also knowing they love and admire you enough to never use those powers directly on you.

As an 18 girl, I think there's a lot of relationships where the "I can fix him" mentality can be really detrimental. It's one thing to want to "fix" your partner, and another thing to want what's best for him, you might not always know what that is, but it's important to try and help him to figure that out.

Though I totally do get the appeal of helping your partner become a better man, but it's important to grow alongside him

One of the terrible side effects of blushing is someone telling you... you're blushing. Oh god.

As a lady, for me, its not the being dominated or taming a beast thing...its the world. The adventures, the magic, the danger a world like theirs can give. Normal life is dull for most people. Being in a world with Pirates, vampires, or werewolves is exciting and different. Same thing with elves...not traditionally masculine, beasts to be tamed, or dominating. Lots of ladies just loving the difference of a fantasy world and having a man to be with within that world. You remove the special worlds these men come from or the secret worlds they exist in within our own and you get what? Greg the vampire that works in accounting and only feeds on the weekends...not a lot of ladies, if any, will thirst over that. Even the fantasy of being with a billionaire is fueled by what money like that can open up for you. The fashion, travel, status. Its erotic escapism. We just go from daydreaming about prince charming to something with a bit more edge and sexiness as we get older.

I love it when he said “Social scientists would never do that but engineers have no issue with it” 😂

"There's no fun in taming someone who's already tame ... plus when chaos manifests itself, what makes you think someone tame is going to be good for anything."

it’s a fantasy no one wants in real life but it’s fun to experience it in fiction without being harmed
