Do you want to know how to FIX anynet + or HDMI CEC on your Samsung TV! Sometimes this simply will not work and you can't control your TV with your remote or turn on or off your devices! To fix this issue, unplug your TV from the wall outlet for 15 to 20 minutes and plug it back it! Or leave it unplugged overnight! This should fix it if it keeps disconnecting too.

I spent hours messing with the settings on my older Samsung TV as well as my BOSE soundbar, with no luck. I also unplugged both the TV and soundbar and tried different HDMI cables. Nothing worked. I gave up for a few weeks and just used the optical cord. I came across this video and decided to follow the suggestion of cutting the power to the TV for a lengthy period of time. I'm impatient so I plugged it back in after 6 minutes and to my amazement, Anynet+ came back! Everything now works again. It may not work for everyone, but it did work for me. My issues occurred after a power outage. Give it a try.

It works!! I have spent hours and then the fix was simply to turn it off and on again... (for 20 minutes though)....

This is awesome! It fixed my cec issues with my Samsung soundbar. Which worked perfectly before. Big thumbs up! The trick with unplugging and pushing On button on the remote worked for me.

Thank you so much for this simple solution 👏, I spent hours trying to fix it without any results, disconnecting the cord overnight solved the problem.

Tried resetting the TV with no result but this worked… thanks! Protip: unplug it the TV and press the power button. This way you don’t have to wait for it to discharge

This solved my issues, for now at least. But about 10 seconds of being unplugged did the trick for me.

The reason plugging out works for these things is because the tv will get turned off to a total state, compared to a more standby mode when the tv still has access to power while being turned off. Unless your tv has some sort of internal battery that you need to drain first, leaving it overnight should by no means make a difference. They usually say halve a minute or something for unplugging/resetting things, because the capacitors will still have energy built up in them, so when you plug it out and immediately back in, it might not have been fully off power yet. But as far as im aware, there is no reason to let this procedure take hours and hours. Just try a couple of seconds first

Man i spent a lotta time trying to figure what was happening and why the amazon fire and my soundbar weren't working, but this worked for me, thanks a lot you won a subscriber.

Btw you can unplug the tv nad press the power button once and it will discharge, ao is faster than waiting minutes or all night.

Had problems with my Samsung tv and Samsung soundbar. Unplugging TV would fix it for one or two power cycles and then I’d have the same problem again where the TV would revert to Tv speakers and I’d have to do the config all over again or unplug the TV again.

What I found is if I go into the Samsung Service Menu and disable Instant On and disable the Power Loss action to stay off in even of Power Loss it has permanently fixed my issue.

Been fighting this issue since I bought the TV. S95b to replace my old Samsung 8000 series that worked fine with my Denon X4500h. The new s95b TV keeps switching to TV speakers, it simply won't stay, dozens of calls to Samsung, tech has been here 4 times, nobody seems to understand, i tried everything, even returned TV for another one, same problem. im ready to pull my hair out. I've tried everything. Samsung literally gave up on me, im so upset. I'll try one last time by keeping TV unplugged as you suggested, but I honestly don't think that will work since this 2nd TV was setup from scratch. I love this model because it has no frame, the new model S95c now has the one connect box and now has a frame panal. I would think the TV with the connect box will work fine. BUT, I had just spent $1, 800, the new 2023 model is about $3k. Hope somehow this trick may fix it. Sorry for the long comment. Thanks for the video. We shall see..
