Samsung Smart TV: How to Turn On 'HDMI - CEC - ARC' (Anynet+)

I show you how to turn on or enable the HDMI - CEC -ARK (Anynet+) setting in the Samsung Smart TV. I had to enable this so my soundbar remote would turn off my TV too. Hope this helps.

When plugged in from arc hdmi on TV to arc hdmi on sound bar (both Samsung brand) with this setting on it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions? FYI works Through optical cable fine when I tested it so I know it’s not the sound bar. Thanks !

Sir why l did that and my hdmi ARC ectractor not running the sound using hdmi connections to both tv+audio extractor via hdmi+ audio hdmi port of the exctractor labelled audio only to av receiver using HDMI. Please help sir and my TV IS the same like in your video.

I have a PS3 as well do these plugs work on a new TV new Samsung TV because we tried the HDMI plug it didn't work so we ordered the AV cable but my question is does the AV plug work on a new Samsung TV and does the ps3 work on a new Samsung tv my tv doesn't say Arc

No it doesn’t work in Samsung RU7100 after enabling HDMI-CEC Anynet i have connect JBL 9.1 wireless sound bar while connecting from HDMI Arc - any help will be appreciated please to use hdmi arc i have to disconnect all other Hdmi wire except arc then only it will so receiver from HDMI please any clue

Have a new sound bar and new tv (Hitachi) I have tried everything but this. Anyone know where to check if it is on with Hitachi TV?

Any luck setting the TV in a way it does NOT automatically turn the receiver on and off? I want to be able to use HDMI-CEC so turning it off completely is not the solution for me. I had a Samsung plasma before where I COULD turn the receiver on from the TV menu, but the TV did not do that automatically, which was good. Now I have QN95a which does it and I don't like it. Thanks.

Thanks. Followed your way to use Anynet+ to connect to a device, & managed to use the remote to control it, work well.
But if i use the remote to turn off the Samsung tv, the device also switched off.
When i use the remote to turn on the tv, I can't turn on the device.
Anyone got a solution? Appreciate help. Thanks
