I’m getting full implants in two weeks. I was born with soft teeth and no matter how much care I took with brushing, flossing and air flossing I was still getting cavities even as an adult. Eventually I was loosing my teeth. Currently I have stay plates. I’m looking forward to the implants. No more stay plates, no more sensitive teeth. It’s going to be a long haul, but know it will be well worth it.

I had an extraction and bone graft and let me tell you that I didn't experience "soreness"....I was in agony during the healing process. Thank God I didn't get an infection and the swelling and pain severe pain started to decrease after 9 days. It was then that I started experiencing soreness. Whatever you Do, DON'T leave your dentist's office without a prescription for an antibiotic and serious pain med.

Uhhh...no. I have just had two implants 2 days ago. The pain and swelling is pretty bad and Tylenol and advil isn't helping. I have had to get a prescription for vicodin. That is the only thing that has helped me manage the pain. Even with vicodin I am hurting like hell. My entire jaw hurts right up into my eye and near my ear. I had implants on my upper jaw. I had no idea it would hurt this much.

I am getting full top implants and some for my bottom teeth… the amount of pain I have had in the past and am going threw currently something tells me I will be in more comfort after getting the surgery

Taking a 800mg Ibuprofen with a 500mg Tylenol is that the same as an Advil with a Tylenol at the same time?

I had zero swelling, just a little bruising like a moustache on my top lip. Didn’t need any painkillers at all. That said the procedure itself was absolutely horrific

I had 4 implants on my lower jaw, after 4 months of pain and numbness and inflammation my surgeon took one implant out of the left side of my jaw a week ago, don’t know if it helped or not yet. now left side of my mouth is getting numb and inflamed I am worried another implant has to come out, never mind I paid top dollar for 4 implant so far I have 3, it is effecting my life really badly since I have no teeth on my lower jaw and don’t know when I can get teeth. Does the inflammation and numbness goes away one day? Does all implants have to come out? Can I ever get teeth? So frustrating

You say not to rinse for 2 days but then say you can use salt water to rinse. From what I read, you should NOT rinse your mouth with anything for 24 hours after the surgery.

Have you lost your mind? I know there are a lot of drug addicts out there but I would refuse to pay thousands for you to let me sit in pain because of drug addicts! Advil and Tylenol together? You have clearly never had a toothache and I can’t imagine having this done without pain meds. Shame on you!
