I punch those numbers into my calculator, it makes a happy face.

“You’ll be fighting an army of mantis men, follow the green light and pick up a rifle. You’ll know when the test starts”

"Now, if you're part of Control Group Kepler-Seven, we implanted a tiny microchip about the size of a postcard into your skull. Most likely you've forgotten it's even there, but if it starts vibrating and beeping during this next test, let us know, because that means it's about to hit five hundred degrees, so we're gonna need to go ahead and get that out of you pretty fast."

Love how the soundtrack is interactive with what you are doing at the time.

In my opinion, this is the most atmospheric music in Portal 2. It really gives you a sense that you are messing with materials from the future.

And because all the top comments have quotes ;) "Alright, this next test may involve trace amounts of time travel. So, word of advice: If you meet yourself on the testing track, don't make eye contact. Lab boys tell me that'll wipe out time. Entirely. Forward and backward. So, do both of yourselves a favour and just let that handsome devil go about his business"

"Please let us know if you feel tiredness, shortness of breath, or your heart stopping, because thats not part of the test. That's abspestos."

"Just a heads up: that coffee you had earlier had fluorescent calcium in it so we can track the neuronal activity in your brain. There's a slight chance the calcium could harden and verify the frontal lobe... Visualizing the scenario while under stress actually triggers the reaction."

I *punched* those numbers into my calculator. It did not make a happy face. It broke.

If science has any sound, it definitely sounds like this

"Oh, and, what if you don't have any tumors, you ask? Well, if you sat on one of the folding chairs in the lobby and weren't wearing lead underpants, we took care of that too."

I love the old Aperture and its test chambers. The calm atmosphere and how you can experiment with certain stuff especially in the old ones and gels. It's really cool and the music is great too. That's not to say the modern test chambers aren't good, they are, it's just I found some of them too linear and the 1950s test chambers really let you explore the most. It felt so weird to be back to modern test chambers after all that fun and enjoyment I had with the old chambers, lol. The modern ones are fun too, btw.

They say the basis of science is built on the shoulders of giants. Not here, though. Here in Aperture, we do all our science from scratch! No hand-holding.

I like how there's elements of the music you get when bouncing/sliding on the gels in this.

It just fucking occurred to me that the propulsion and repulsion gels are the same colours as the Portals. :/

This is the most amazing beat ever. Perfect for totally breaking the conventional laws of Physics.

Imagine if they created those Gels in real life?

When ever i listen to this song on my ipod all i can think of is Sliding alone the orange gel and Bouncing off the blue gel while doing flips mid-air and then safely landing on another patch for orange gel moving to a combo of blue gel patches over Vast amounts of distance...

This feels a lot more light-hearted compared to a lot of the other music in the game. And I think that’s a fitting because the chambers you go through in this part of the game were made during Aperture’s heyday, it’s peak (rather than the “darker times”)

Whenever I hear the little "wibwibwibwibwib" noises, I think "DROP THE MINI-BASS." And then I'm ashamed of myself.

The Cave Johnson chambers were my favorite part of the game. They were sometimes creepy but I liked it.
