Diet after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Gall bladder surgery - Dr. Nanda Rajaneesh

After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy there is not enough gall bladder juice coming into the digest the heavy meals. As such this disturbance would have happened before the surgery because once the gall stones are formed the capacity of a gallbladder to contact may be reduced with chronic cholecystitis. So there is some digestive distance even after operating and after digestion this may continue. So doing Cholecystectomy doesn’t mean we are removing your digressive problem. We are just removing the gall stones that are harmful for you and stone is better even before the gall bladder gets into complexities. So the gall bladder is removed the digestion is again considered to be slowed down. So these individuals have to eat slow meals frequently rather than heavy meals at a time and they should avoid any food that forms gas like besan, maida, breads, biscuits, bakery items, it is very important post gall bladder surgery. It is very important to go for soft foods and liquid food soft food is good for digestion and fruits and vegetables is good for you rather than eating breads, biscuits and chapatis.

I got mine 1 week ago. You have to take liquids for one day after surgery and for two weeks you have to eat plain food (no oil and spices) so that your incisions heal and there is no problem in digestion. After 2 weeks you can slowly go back to your regular diet (spices, non veg, etc). Don't take very heavy meals initially. And there is no other long term problem after gall bladder removal so don't worry guys.😉💕

Had my gallbladder removed 29 years ago, and have been very active and generally healthy since. I now eat a low-fat diet but am careful about which fats. I try to stick to extra virgin olive oil, sea fish, nuts, low-fat meat and chicken, very small amounts of butter or cheese (token amounts). But a healthy diet with veg, spices, and some fruit. I avoid big meals. Lots of exercise. Good luck folks.

GUYS YOU CAN EAT AFTER SURGERY!
this video is just suggesting you eat small portions and mainly plain foods. White rice, nuts, toast, soup. If you experience constipation take stool softeners! they help me go to the bathroom. I would take one or two before my first meal of the day. i had my gallbladder removed on July 30. I have been eating whatever i want now lol, i probably shouldn't but it's hard! especially because i am now finding out that i can no longer eat how i used too. My dr sent me home the same day i had surgery without telling me what i can or can't eat, when i can shower again, if i'll ever be able to smoke again. I regret having my gallbladder removed but there was a stone in it and it was infected, i had pain attacks many times a year and this time it lasted 4 days!... now im seeing all these comments that people still have pain and deal with constipation, anxiety, had to go vegan, etc. it sucks. i feel helpess but i know i'm not alone in this.. none of us are 😞

Had my gallbladder taken out due to polyps one week ago, you will be fine everyone. The hospital haves me eggs to eat the very next morning. Just keep the diet pretty bland for a month is what I have been told to do and am sticking to it. I am also back to having a coffee a day with no issues, Then slowly introduce your normal diet after one month post op.

Today I am 5 days after my gallbladder operation (Aug/11/2022) by laparoscopy. Thank God only the first day fever, chills and headache, a lot of back and shoulder pain, after eating. My diet is based on fat-free chicken soup with vegetables, chamomile tea, eggs, coffee with cream, lactose free milk, Greek yogurt with granola, orange juice and fruit.

I got mine 2 days ago.. Let me share my honest experience.. The operation was really painless as the anesthesia played it's role but during the time when I was being diagnosed with anesthesia I got a little amount of pain in my back.. Immediately after few minutes my lower body was out of control..I had no sensations on my abdominal and lower body area.. And I don't even remember when did I slept there in the OT. I woke up in the middle of the surgery and saw the TV screen which was displaying my organs and the live procedure... Post that surgery, I was shifted to a different ward for the observation.. My surgery was done at evening 7pm and I got free by 7.30 from the OT and then after being shifted to the observation ward I was there for 12 hours means till the next morning... This night was neither too hard nor too easy...I had slight pain in my abdominal area due to the stitches but due to no sensation I couldn't make much body movement.. And the urine pipe was something which irritated me but trust me even after this I got a good sleep.. And then after completing my 12 hours of observation period my urine pipe got removed and then I got shifted to my private room for the rest... The first day was a bit challenging as making some body movements was really hard but on the second day I felt a little better...I can easily walk now and poop very easily and normally... No hard pain on poop... Trust me I haven't done my surgery from an utter luxury or fancy hospital.. It was a normal hospital and even then the experience was good and normal... So if you're planning to get your gall bladder removal surgery done for any reason then fear not, everything will be fine.. Just take rest after the surgery and eat light food and follow the medications in the right way... The best treatment is to not think much... Don't overthink.. Everything will be fine..#AllTheBest

Have a good day dear 💕

Thank you so much for this video Dr Nanda .
I had my gb surgery on Monday and it's gonna be one week now... I am still on liquid diet. If i try to eat even daliya... I feel heaviness in my stomach.
Doctor told me to keep low on diet for few days and then u can be back to normal diet.. just avoid too much of fatty acids and junkies, Try and avoid Oil and heavy spices as it might create digestion issue.

Ten days out from gallbladder removal, I ate a big chicken salad sandwich on a bagel and then sat in the car for a 5 hour trip and had an attack that was almost as bad as my gallbladder attacks!! It lasted about 8 hours. I'm ok now, but worried I'll get these frequently. Horrible!!

Hello! I had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago today. I feel good, slowly getting better. I was told to follow a low fat diet henceforth. Last night i felt a very faint "heart burn or acid indigestion" while preparing to go to bed. It went away and was able to sleep well. Other than that so far so good!

My daughter had her gallbladder out months ago but she had complications because her liver became infected. She was morbidly obese and since than has been on a low fat diet and has lost a substantial amount of weight. Sometimes she has fainting spells which concerns me. Mostly due to dehydration. Removal of the gallbladder can actually cause obesity because without a gallbladder fat can't be regulated properly.

I just got my gallbladder removed 12 hours ago in Toronto so far everything is ok, the reason they removed not because stone or anything. It's just after any food I eat I would have a bad pain on my left side right beside the bally hole so they had to remove the gall bladder
Hopefully will fix the issue
(Any opinion Dr?)

Thank you
