God Himself said the Sabbath was forever. I’m going to obey what God said.

To me it’s easy. Sabbath was part of creation god rested on the seventh day. Jesus worshipped on the the seventh day. I’m a follower of Christ therefor I will worship as he did. Jesus also took issue with the overly legalized version of the sabbath that emerged for the Judaic Law.

The answer to this question is as simple as the 4th commandment.

“Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”

Nowhere in the Bible will you find the day has been changed to Sunday.

Frank! I believe the most honest statement made was 'we meet on Sunday; it has nothing to do with the Sabbath'. You are correct sir.
Colossae was a pagan city, and Paul was instructing them to keep the commands that he and the other Apostles kept (Acts 15). No food sacrificed to idols, no drinking blood, and go to Temple every seventh day to learn and grow. These instructions were not telling them to make up any sabbath that they could squeeze into their busy schedule or go ahead and copy your pagan neighbor.

Matthew 5:17 'Fulfill'. If fulfill is to mean what many believers think it means (complete, do away with) then - how can Jesus say 'I didn't come to do away with the Law and the Prophets, but yeah I am doing away with (fulfill)'? And if that is the case, does fulfill/fully fill (pleroo in Greek), the same pleroo used in Romans 15:13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill (pleroo) you completely with joy... So is Paul saying here, that he hopes that God will do away with your joy or complete your joy so that God can now put it away - be done with it?
And just as a kicker, why would Jesus say 'pray that your flight isn't in winter or on the Sabbath' Matt. 24:20, if you could make any day of the week your sabbath?

New testament also, Jesus also keep sabbath day, Luke 4:16 even Paul also keep sabbath day Act 17:2.

Now a day church keep Sunday worship just because they said Jesus rose on Sunday, that's why they keep Sunday worship, but we must understand that this is yearly celebration not a weekly celebration, if you wanna keep Resurrection day, you need to keep only once a year not weekly keep. Sabbath worship is a weekly worship not a yearly worship.

Dr Frank Turek how do you reconcile "if you love Me keep My commandments"? The Sabbath Day is a commandment and yes we will stumble at times and when we do it is then that we should repent and grace is then afforded for that repentance. If we aren't expected to keep the commandments then what need would there be for repentance? I hold to the commandments not because I don't need Jesus but because I love Him and want to please Him. The catholic church changed the Sabbath Day, just as they added blasphemous pagan traditions like Easter and Christmas as well. You are teaching false doctrine.

Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath. In Christ Jesus, we have rest and keep the Sabbath.
He is also the promise and in Him we receive all the blessings from our Father in heaven.

I try to follow the commandments out of love, not because I believe works can get you into heaven, only through the free gift of Christ our Lord and Saviour can we attain salvation. So I know Shabbat is on Saturday, so I try to keep that day Holy out of love for God, but also now understand that we meet on Sunday because of the Resurrection. So Jesus said if you love me, keep my Commandments, so I try best way I know how. And of course love one another as he loves us.

Saturday is Sabbath. The Romans were sunworshippers hence why Constantine changed the day of worship to Sunday and introduced pagan rituals into Christianity.

The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

God did not NEED to rest. He rested with a purpose: to teach us the importance of admiring a finished work, and being thankful to the One who performed it.
