There is a way to approach the Bible that many scholars and theologians would say is the most accurate and helpful for keeping the train on the tracks when it comes to trying to interpret the Bible. In this video, Andrew Curry from The Master's Seminary explains to Costi Hinn what the literal, grammatical, historical method is and why it is important.

It's a great conversation. Love his description. I think this is generally useful, but the truth is there are a few passages where the text isn't clear because of the layers of complication. We don't lose anything by admitting it. The clarity of the text is itself subjective to some degree. That's why we need discernment from the Holy Spirit. In my opinion, LGH methodology is complicated by the apostles not following that methodology with creative licence to use to the OT in ways we never would using the LGH method. Either way, great channel and a needed discussion to keep balance in a wacky world. Keep putting out content, it's been wonderful!

GOD THE FATHER SPEAKS THROUGH JESUS, HIS SON:
Jesus is not God.

There is only ONE God, and that is the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6). Those who say Jesus is God do not know the Father, and we must know both in order to reach the kingdom (John 17:3). Everything Jesus spoke came from God first, and those who do not accept the things Jesus speaks are also denying the words of God the Father through Christ:

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath *one that judgeth him:* the word that I have spoken, the same shall *judge him in the last day.”* God will judge us through Christ, just as he does all things through Christ.

Jesus was sent by God the Father for our salvation. We must believe on the one who sent Jesus, and become one with the Father even as Jesus is one with the Father. And the only way to do that is to listen to the words of God spoken to us BY his Son, Jesus Christ (Heb 1:2). Only those who believe on the one who SENT Jesus will enter the kingdom of God (John 5:24).
