Arch is literally as "testing in production" type of distro as it gets. I see nothing out of the ordinary. A little bit of trolling here and there is always fun 🍌

I was very confused when the wiki started blinking red in the middle of my troubleshooting but after knowing this I think it's pretty entertaining. Didn't see the bananas though sadly.

Honestly, the real clown behaviour is scolding unpaid volunteers of a community project for a lack of professionalism. If people want professionalism, they should go and pay for RHEL or something.

I unknowingly saw this transpire in real time. Saw the bananas and just kinda shrugged and kept on going.

So long as they have the references there for me to utilize I couldn’t care less about them fooling around with the formatting lol. God bless the arch wiki, always there for me when I’ve broken something or need help.

The lack of numbered headings is something I've wanted addressed for a long, _long_ time on the Arch wiki. The inability to easily distinguish between different kinds of headings from the ToC and sub-headings that aren't even in the ToC has been my biggest pet peave for the wiki.

Imo the numbered headings are an improvement. That being said, banana headings are objectively superior. Long live bananarch wiki 🍌

I had recently updated my font configs and to see bananas in the page made me redo the entire font setup allover again, till my dumbass checked on my phone and realised it's just some devs having some troll.

I like the idea of adding numbers to the headings. They look weird right now, but having them and them being properly automated (and not part of the url!) is great. As for the bananas: Knowing if emojis work with that weird syntax css counters use could be useful. Of course if you don't have an immediate usecase for such you pick a funny emoji. Banana funny.
