Quote to remember.... "These guys really have to sharpen their things every morning to use it." Words to live by my friends.

I really like how they included the camera man. Especially in food related media the camera man doesn't always get to try the food. Awesome to see!

Thank you for the very informative video. Much appreciated! My question is, when cooking these burgers at home on a cast iron griddle on the stove, what temperature should the griddle get to before placing the first burger on it?

I went to Smashburger for the first time recently & it was a Great burger. I also had the fries & the haystack onions, everything was awesome. The location I went to also had great customer service.

Tom looks like the type of guy that spends copious amounts of time looking at himself in the mirror every day.

Cooked food is always a result of *Time and Temp.* As many of these videos as I've watched they most always give you the 'time' it takes to cook it, but NEVER the 'temp' at which it's cooked. I find that same thing lacking no matter who's channel or what they're cooking unless they're cooking in the oven. Ovens aren't the only thing that requires a temp setting. Please help me here. What's the ideal griddle temp?

I wonder how it felt explaining your burger technique to a god.

S&P, dried garlic, onion powder, and MSG.

Since I know Burger Scholar, every other burger video is like one from a British housewife (EVEN when George is in it!)

I use my sturdy meat cleaver( that I could shave with) turned sideways at about a 45 degree angle & tap the top of the cleaver with the smooth smooth side of the heavy duty meat tenderize, lifts the burger right off the blackstone flat top, works every time

First i started watching the video called “ the smashburguer founder” then started watching every single video where this white hair steve jobs/colonel sanders baby dude appears with his perfect 45 degree spatula maneuver.

I tried to replicate his techniques but instead i put the spatula on a 44, 7 degree angle and blew up my kitchen, now i requested a 40K usd loan to repair it, i lost it all, its the last time i make that mistake

For some reason this guy is like the Sean Schemmel of burgers to me... and by that I just mean the way he looks and how he sounds when he talks slightly reminds me of Sean Schemmel, lol. Random, but I wonder if anyone else sees/hears it but me... lol.

And for the record, I mean George Motz, not the Smashburger guys.
