I (Michelle) have truly been struggling lately with my mental and physical health. I suffered from postpartum depression last year that seems to keep popping back up. I've also got some major skin irritation & eczema. I've been seeing a holistic doctor and supplements aren't helping. I'm pretty desperate to find a solution, so we are trying the carnivore diet after some pretty amazing testimonials from friends.

My Dr once told me "you wouldn't have the teeth and you wouldn't have the enzymes if you weren't meant to be a carnivore.". Perfect!

It's tough for the first 2 weeks because of the sugar/carb addiction we all have. Watch Dr. Berry on the sugar addiction.

What a coincidence! I also started carnivore after seeing Jason’s video about it improving his skin.
I’m only one week in but I’m already feeling the benefits of cutting out the carbs.

I'm Carnivore, It helps heaps with anxiety and depression, energy, skin etc.

I also find Collagen is great for skin, CBD oil was excellent for Anxiety, way better sleeps too.

Been carnivore since February 2021 and feeling great It’s rough at first but hang in there. I’m 54 and haven’t looked or felt this good since my 30’s ;)

Ty for sharing your experience. Carnivore for 16 months and it’s helping me with so many different things I'm never going back to standard american diet. I hope to try transitioning to ketovore eventually, but I'm still healing an autoimmune disorder, so sticking with relaxed carnivore until things improve more. I follow Sow the Land as well. So happy for Jason’s healing. Your taste buds change as you stick with it. Part of the “blandness” is your gut having bacteria that feed off carbs trying to get you to eat carbs again. And it takes longer than 30 days to heal your body. If you aren’t suffering from much, you can use it as a reset, but if you’re overweight and suffering from multiple issues it could take longer. Give it at least 3 months.

Started meat only (or proteins ), eggs, hard cheeses like Cheddar I now limit my dairy, but I do have it ( Maria Emmerich has great recipes)because I had ( skin issues)itching, migraines, fibromyalgia, fatigue, depression, heart palpitations mostly at night, etc.
I did a process of elimination, so ate only meat for 3 weeks, couldn’t believe the change. No itching, no headaches.
Basically gave up, grains, wheat, sugar I rarely ate meat in the past . Now I do.. not gonna lie it was hard to change. But until I added back the grains, and a bit of wheat and the headaches, fatigue came back! I also added to my diet collagen peptides. I do eat green beans, a bit of salad now.. cucumbers, but limit the veggies! “ Carbs “which I absolutely loved, we are addicted to food! I stay clear of grains, I really struggled with that! as I get immediate inflammation.
My husband said life is to short not to enjoy the foods we love! I replied life is to short to be in pain all the time! It’s a way of life now for me . Good luck! (Dr Ken Berry on YouTube has great videos) I changed my way of eating before I found him.

You’re doing well eh. The change in your state of mind for the better is a sign that things are changing for the better. Keep looking for the small changes cause they add up really fast.

Eggs a dollar a dozen. Hamburger patties a dozen for $8. Lasts 2 days. Add $3 for cheese and $3 for sardines. That's less than ten bucks a day.

I have been studying a lot about carnivore. Some doctors are considering it an elimenation diet. They suggest only meat, not any dairy and some people even have issues with eggs. Maybe just you could continue. I have been on it for about 6 weeks. Skin issues clearing up and some other health issues. I eat mostly grass fed hamburger. The more rare, the more nutrients you get from meat. I have lost 24 lbs. The longer you are on it, your appetite lessens and your cravings go away. I have tried so many things and this is working for me. A lot of good doctors and people to learn from. Let your family eat the veggies from the garden and you do this for your health. If you are going to add some vegetables and bread, limit total carbs to less than 20g per day.

carnivore diet has helped me a lot and resolved all of my autoimmune issues including skin issues. However, if I have sometimes even just one exposure from going off plan to a plant then symptoms can come back right away and it will cause problems for several days.

I fast in combination with carnivore. The carnivore really helps me stick to extended fasts. I am very insulin resistant that I don't think I would lose weight if it weren't for extended fasting. And carnivore makes me feel really good when I eat.

Great story! Wish you all the best! I started ketovore diet 1.5 year ago. Lost 35kg, reversed pre-diabetes, reversed fatty liver, all blood markers are OK now. I find carnivore and IF much cheaper comparing to my previous eating style. I fast 2x week 36hr (usually Monday and Thursday). Other days I eat 1 meal (OMAD), usually grass-fed beef, pork or lamb, liver, broccoli, kale, onion, garlic, asparagus, mushrooms, butter, sardines (canned), eggs, matured cheese. I do not spend more than 7-10 Euro a day for real, healthy food. Couldn't be happier eating the "proper human diet" as Dr Ken Berry calls it.

Tomatoes and all nightshades are very high in "plant toxicity", also grains (wheat soy and corn). as for tomatoes they should be peeled and deseeded to reduce the toxicity. as for grains, fermentations is the way to reduce its toxicity, so if you make bread it must take very long time to rest (ferment) like a day or more.
Most carnivores do ruminant meat only if they want to really see great results, eggs and cheese (milk) can trigger some alergies, so if you want to really see great results in short time, ruminant meat, salt and water is the only thing you should eat. Eating on a restricted window is also very important. Do not eat anything past 4PM for best results.
