I go over studies on how the vicious cycle of stress causing health issues and health issues causing stress could be driven by a specific micronutrient. Clarification on mineral vs vitamin: I wanted one term to encapsulate all the things I talked about in the video, so I went with "vitamin" as the general category term, along the lines of how a multivitamin contains both vitamins and minerals. What I'm referring to in the title is actually the vitamin I talk about at the end where having more of it can actually increase stress. But the main focus of the video before that is indeed a mineral, as I say when I introduce it!

N'awh shit I forgot to take my (prescribed by doctor) magnesium supplements and my D-vitamins...
Your first video on magnesium depletion after D-vitamin supplementation saved my life by the way (Sounds dramatic, REALLY feels like that for me). I'm a clusterf*ck of diagnosises and imbalances and after vitamin-D defiency january last year, I had been supplementing only that one vitamin as per doctors orders. Felt increasingly shit as we neared December, had a psykward visit in january and after coming home, I found your video. I called my doctor about it and I havn't had that type of migraine since, though I do still have my classic progesteron/estrogen-complex migraines.

I'm sorry I do not have the means to support or thank you further than this for the time being. As I'm sure you're well aware, co-morbidities increases the risk of hanging out in the lower socio-economics and I do find myself there. But thank you so much Miche! And thank you for your insight 🤗💜
Also sorry sorry for babbling, I have the A to the D to the H to the last D (ADHD)

Thank you for posting this. I eat a lot of leafy green and a lot of cruciferous veggies, and recently found that I am a lot less anxious, and am sleeping a lot better, when I am not taking Vitamin D and Magnesium supplements. I also stopped taking Vitamin C because I do eat a lot of foods rich in C. I'm gonna let my food take care of it, and see what happens.

This makes perfect sense to me as I can’t tolerate high doses of vitamin D, and my magnesium levels are low so I have to take supplements.

There are so many forms of magnesium when choosing a supplement. I've found magnesium citrate the best for me.

I have a dilemma. A couple of years ago, a blood test showed my Vitamin D levels were almost non-existent. I started taking 5000 IU Vitamin D and Magnesium and Calcium supplements too. But last year I had my gallbladder removed and in trying to deal with the side effect of diarrhea, I discovered certain supplements can increase it.

My solution was to drop my Vitamin D supplement down to 2000 IU and eat a big field greens salad (spinach is in it) every day. So, I'm trying to get my Magnesium from the salad instead of supplements and it's decreased the diarrhea a lot.

Thank you! I've been suffering from what I believe is plaque psoriasis and I've been taking 2k vitamin c every day but I take generic prilosec as well as certrizine every day. So I've begun taking vitamin d and magnesium by your recommendations. So I went from 5k iu to 15k iu every day. I've heard that causes anxiety. So I'm going to back off to not exceed 50k iu a week and I'm thinking about adding vitamin a and vitamin B12 to further help heal these lesions.
So, this clip is reinforcing my direction. The vitamin D does seem to bring healing to my condition.

When you say high of vitamin D how high is high? I take 2000 IU a day to maintain a blood level of 50. I’m pale skin and live in the north so I thought it was a good idea for me to supplement . I’m also 59 y

How much magnesium is “mega dosing”? How do I know if a supplement has “too much” mg?

Awesome. Known. I was unaware that there was a trend towards hypervitaminosis. I sure hope they aren't combining that with excess alcohol (even sugar) or excess exercise. Pathways to the coroner's office.

What diet and supplements are best for ADHD in both men and women?

I always hear good things about magnesium. I’ve heard people swear by drinking milk of magnesia to help them sleep and poop!

My question:
why don’t I lose weight? I’m exercising and eating less.

Great video, thanks. I heard somewhere that magnesium is best absorbed through the skin, in baths for example. Is that actually a thing. Also what foods would you recommend to include in particular for more magnesium? Thanks in advance 😊

Interesting video but isn't magnesium a mineral rather than a vitamin? Or is it also called a vitamin in English? Genuine question, English is not my native language...

Just take magnesium supplements and follow the recommended dose, you'll never get enough from food .

Thanks. I do appreciate your content. I am a Keto diet, guru follower, and currently take many, many supplements. It is challenging to get the most bang for my $bucks, though. I am looking into your suggested form of magnesium, and will reconsider my current Vitamin D intake. These days I take 10, 000 i.u. daily. I think the recommended daily intake for an adult male is 4000 i.u. I'll tinker with it until I get it right. Cheers 🤗
