Absolutely downshift going into tight turns/ corners, for my RWD friends, take it easy downshifting going into turns especially while in the turn press in your clutch with the wheel cut you might slightly break traction, and potentially spin out.

Don't just rev match on tighter turns. You need to brake. That's where heel toe technique helps with rev matching into tight turns. Slow in, fast out.
