A Neon Genesis Evangelion is an insane task to pull off. Yes the last movie that closed the series was simply spectacular. It was the real thing in anime pulling off insane drawings and closing the series with a good note.

A translation should get few more things like the organic robotic mechanisms on these things. There should be purely robotic units and the classical ones found on NGE. A movie should up the game further adding more dimensions to the great series.

A clean budget for this are over the 500 millions. All the resources would be allocated on CGI, special effects and classical scenarios. Another alternative of a simple anime movie continuing the saga pulling off good CGI, computer graphics, traditional drawing and painting.
