Growing strawberries indoors: how to hand pollinate

Yes, you must hand pollinate your indoor strawberry flowers even though they are self-pollinated. We will go over the difference between self-pollination, cross-pollination, and how to do both to your strawberries.

After pollinating, pluck off all the white/red flower petals so you know it's been pollinated. Once the flowers start coming, it becomes hard to track which ones you've already done unless you pluck the flowers.

Another tip would be to attach with tape a vibrating toothbrush (or anything that vibrates in a similar way) to the makeup brush. To simulate the wings of a bee.
