Nice! My grandparents always had a ton of strawberries in their garden. They are so versatile in how you can grow them. In the ground, hydroponics, aeroponics, aquaponics... just about every way you can grow a plant! Thanks for sharing 🤠

My grandfather ran a truck farm. He would drive a tractor with cultivation equipment down the field moving the strawberries to the left or right each year about 10”. Each year, three times left three times right. Giving about 24” paths to walk down. They’re definitely hardy. All he would say is he’s making a new pathway for people to pick them up.

Strawberries...YUM!!! I agree, one of the easiest plants to grow! And there's nothing better than home grown berries!

Thank for your explaining. I guess my fault in the past time was that I planted my strawberries too deep. I'll give ist another try in some weeks 🍓

We had 15 acres in northwest PA. We set crowns the pinned runners to either side pur rows stayed good for years no need to dig them up and replant.

No questions, but I'll totally agree that strawberries are slam dunk easy to grow. We've had them for years here in the Seattle area. Strawberry shortcake when in season. We freeze the surplus. GF like to blend them into her smoothie year round.

Have you ever heard of electro culture? It works amazingly when you apply the idea to strawberry plants. You won’t need to use as much fertilizer either, the plants will produce sooner and keep producing all season long. The only negative is the electro culture makes the weeds grow faster too. I know people normally scoff at the concept, I challenge anyone that thinks it does not make any sense and it doesn’t work to try it on anything you are growing for 2 weeks, you won’t stop when the 2 weeks are up, I don’t know how it works but it works.
Edit; when I put the rig up at my strawberry plants, I noticed the difference in the growth rate over the first night.

Oh my goodness! I was so impressed with the dog in the background running SO fast until I recalled I watch videos 1.5 - 2 x speed or I zone out thanks to my ADHD. This video is very helpful to me as I am new to growing anything. My strawberry plants from last spring survived but hardly gave any fruit but I think it is because they are not two years old yet.

Great video! Especially liked the border collie running laps in the background. Not sure what he was up to, but he sure was working hard! Keep up the great videos.
