I've seen it suggested that the coconut walls are so thick that nothing gets through, leached into the water. Some studies were done and they couldn't find any formaldehyde in the water, however I still think it would be preferred to get something that wasn't treated with anything harmful just in case.

Worth mentioning for the plastic, some of the chemicals leached are synthetic substances that resemble estrogen, which can disrupt the endocrine system. These substances can even come from BPA free plastic, and because cans have a plastic inner lining, they leave you susceptible to harm from plastic. Unfortunately, glass bottles do too because of the cap of the bottle, though it's less material than the plastic bottles or can linings.

I usually go for the whole coconuts, but even these are wrapped in plastic and sometimes styrofoam too, and I don't want to give money for something that will be existing for far too long while leaching harmful chemicals into the environment. The direct risk to us may be relatively minor, but it does affect other life forms much more significantly, which in turn affects the entire ecosystem that we are a part of.

Coconut water from the source is the best, I went to Miami and a man was selling big young green coconuts. He hacked it open with a big knife and put a straw in it for 5 dollars. It was pure joy!

I love “ Harmless Harvest” coconut water as well as their coconut smoothies! Taste so good and pure I’m surprised they don’t switch to glass bottles. I just discovered Harmless Harvest a couple of months ago at Whole Foods. Before that I wasn’t really into coconut water because the ones I did had every once in a while weren’t that good

I agree with you, I try to avoid drinking out of plastic bottles, would be a huge improvement for Harmless Harvest and
potentially draw more customers, including myself to put it in glass bottles, showing they are more health conscious
about their product for consumers.

I drink harmless harvest … it’s closer to the green coconut. I will continue to drink harmless harvest until I am able to get my hands on that green coconut and it’s has coconut meat

I seen a YouTube on the harmless brand and they go straight from a green young.cOcOnut to the bottle. 🙌🏽🤙🏽 lUcKy im frm hawaii so cOcOnuts are plentiful but on a quIcK run, harmless is where its at for me. Aloha

I Harmless Harvest!! It’s pricey but no other packaged CNW compares. It’s unpasteurized and hasn’t been chemically processed. I would LOVE to switch over to a real coconut but I don’t know how to choose them

The best comes straight from the green coconut off the tree not the coconut from the store because it’s treated with formaldehyde for storage longevity and color. That’s why the coconut water is more oxidized in the store bought shaved coconuts versus a fresh one from the tree

So here’s my honest opinion I think getting it straight from the source is the best taste I’ve never had the other Nirvana and I definitely love harmless harvest

I definitely go with harmless harvest, it does taste as close to the real thing than others ive tried. I do love its just the one ingredient and organic. For the price they could go ahead and through it in a glass bottle

Harmless is a really good water it's another one I buy it's good it has pieces of coconut in the can but you can't go wrong with a whole coconut you open yourself thanks again for another video

I always grab harmless when I can but Vita coco pressed coconut water very good too. 🥥 💧 💯
