So sad, so sweet. I’m glad this little one was able to be next to her at the end. 😻😻😻

Mom hid her cancer from her kids for over two years until it was very obvious but she couldn't hide it from the cat. She would pretty much guard moms bed while mom slept then hop down and hide under the bed during the day. That cat did not suffer through human touch but she would allow mom to pet her. It was humbling how that cat helped more than meds ever did.

What a beautiful heartwarming story. Cats are as good at expressing love as any other animal. They do it their way. Makes me think of that line in Lethal Weapon 4 "Froggy wasn't better or worse just different." 🥰❤🦋

My cats always knew when I didn’t feel well. When I would sit on the recliner, my cats would sit on each arm rest, another on the head piece, another on the foot rest, and on my chest. They definitely know.

This happened to my mother when she was ready to move on her cat and dog would not leave her side and at the moment when she took her last breath the dog and cat just went completely quiet as well as all the birds outside. I know there is an after life and our loving animals all sense it to. God bless that sweet woman and her devoted cat.

We as people have a special bond all tyypes of animals.
It's just finding which one is yours. If you're lucky, you'll find many.

Man! I hope this kitty bonded with another enough to be re-homed to their family.

People shouldn't really be surprised that animals are also living things that also have emotions.

One more proof (for naysayers and nonbelievers) that animals in general and familiar pets in particular, understand...comprehend... and love the humans they live with..!
Of course the fact that they are taken care of and fed and protected is the main reason for the furry critters to stay with us and BE PETS...!
But I absolutely believe that they can and do LOVE their
"hoomans"..!

My kitty was dying and the vet could do nothing to help. I took kitty home. At first he hid under the table, but then I lay down beside him. I decided to bless him before I headed for my bed. He surprised me. With his last strength, he joined me and jumped up on my bed. I stayed with him until his last moments. It was hard, but I believe something special happened when I blessed him before his final journey.

Breaks my heart that Grandma died and the cat is missing her so much. I have 8 rescues and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

They are as good as dogs at showing us their love. They just do it in their own, different way. They're a different species, and have their own lovely ways. You just need to take the time to learn their ways, and get to understand them.

I have one very intelligent cat out of my four, that understands everything I say. None of them are house pets. Feral/rescue & it's taking me years to get them used to my touch
