Pet owner captures the ghost of her dead cat curled up on her sofa

A pet owner thinks she may have captured the ghost of her dead cat 'Blackjack' curled up on her sofa. The footage was captured on her 'pet cam'

She shared the footage on Reddit to get an opinion and answers.

She explained "Not sure if this can be explained but I caught what looks like my cat Blackjack, who passed away almost exactly a year ago, materialising on our sofa (far left) when I turned the lights on from my phone. There was nothing black on the sofa just pillows that are red, grey and cream"

My most beloved cat used to sleep under my left arm every night. He died 5 years ago but every once in a while. I feel him lay down next to me at night the way he used to. It’s actually a beautiful thing.

I don’t know if it was just my head playing tricks on me, because it very much could have, but the night my precious childhood kitty died, I was screaming and crying and having a panic attack before going to bed. The image of his head going limp and him becoming lifeless kept replaying in my head and I just felt so hysterical and depressed. I remember calling out to him to please let me feel him one last time. Once I’d settled down a little bit and closed my eyes, I felt little paws crawling up to me and a very faint purring by my head. It was the only time I heard that but I truly hope that was him. I miss my kitty so so so much, even to this day.

Months after my silver tabby died I heard her "meow". I was NOT half-asleep- I was awake! I]And I could hear her walking around in the other room at night. And, every-so-often, I feel her jump on the bed!

Our old cat would hop up on my sons bed every night while I lay there with him until he fell asleep.. after he passed..we both felt him hop up on the bed like he always did for weeks after.

When I saw this clip on “Paranormal Caught On Camera” I instantly fell in love with the ghost kitty!! I just wish I could see my cat’s spirit, Boo passed away last year and I miss her deeply!!

My beloved cat of 20 years passed away 6 months ago.Two nights ago I was sitting on couch watching my new kitten play when I saw a small white form walking on other side of coffee table.Knew was my deceased cat from the way her paws moved and she rubbed against table before disappearind.Whole episode was about 4 seconds.Never saw her face.

My children and I had a cat named Oscar, he was about 2 yrs old when he passed. I used to leave a window cracked so he could come and go, (before I knew better), and one day around Christmas time we came home and he was on our porch...he had passed away. We don't know what happened but it was so devastating and we all curled up together for a few days and cried. One morning, I felt my pillow depress...as if something was sitting on it. I turned my head to look, and there he was, sitting on my pillow and telling me he was ok. It was just a quick few seconds but I saw him clear as day. I know what I saw, so I am sure this was her cat Blackjack.

our cat died last year, i still see her in the corner of my eyes where she used to walk. our new cat also sometimes acts like theres another cat in the room with her.

My childhood farm dog passed away in 2016 or 2017 the day after christmas. She used to do rounds around the house, had little paths to show where she walked. She'd bark away any predators, damn smart. Coyotes tried luring her into the dark but she stayed in the light and barked at them... sometimes, my mom says she can still hear her barks outside... still protecting the farm after shes been gone for so long.

The cat is there the whole time, it just blends into the couch’s colour when the lights are off. There is no sudden materialisation.

The cat was always there, it blends in in the dark, as it "materialized" that was that cameras warm lights tuning on that start to pick the colors out, then full color, cat was always there. Black on a black and white infrared camera always makes a weird outcome.

I had a pet guard dog who would always cheer me up and greet me when I come back home normal, bored or sad. We would always play outside together, teach new tricks, and protect me from strangers, but yesterday, when I checked him out, he was not looking really well, but he had a stroke, we tried everything we could, so we took him to a vet but the vet said they can't handle it. So we gave him medicine, but 3 mins later I saw he wasn't moving and breathing, realized he is already R.I.P Brownie.... You were my best dog ever...

My family loves cats. My dad has owned cats for over 15 years. When he lived alone before my mom met him, he had a room on the first floor that was the cat room, where all the cats would have their food and water and their litter box and different cat toys. Of course, the cats have passed on, but now that same cat room is my brothers bedroom. One day, he asked my dad, “did you used to have cats downstairs?” And my dad said yes, and my brother said “yeah I thought that, cuz I see them every once in a while in my room.” Another story is that my dad had a orange tabby cat, and one day my dad accidentally ran over the cat because the cat ran behind his car while he was backing into the driveway. The cat sadly died, but after my dad buried the cats body, a few days later he was walking inside and he saw the same cat sitting on the steps looking at him like he was confused, just staring at him, and all the sudden he turned away and jumped and disappeared. But my dad could tell it was a ghost. I’ve also seen the ghost of a cat as well. Last year one of my cats named maxie ran away and became missing, and she sadly never came back (I think because she was weak, since she had liver problems). But a few months ago maybe 2 months ago, I was walking in my hall way, when all the sudden I saw a tiny black cat shadow run past me and

My 22 year old cat AKA Cici knocked my stuff on my hutch at times ..she passed on Christmas Eve..one night multiple antique trinkets fell to the floor..mind you I'm in my bedroom with 2 other cats .. watching a movie..their ears propped up.. looked to my living room.. spooky 😮
