Divi is more welcoming and organized. Both they do the trick but it's more like familiarity and preferences.
Divi has a simple subscription module and they're trying to protect that and work around the core product by providing other added value like cloud services and marketplace ...
I trust Divi and their team they're so nice.

As someone who started this business using Elementor and later bought Divi, I can say that Elementor is much more stable and easier than Divi.

Divi has great features, but like an F1 car, it takes a lot of work to use them. Elementor is like an automatic transmission car. You can easily get where you want by driving.

I think Astra Theme + Elementor > Divi

Nice Mak! I used to be a Divi addict, then moved to Elementor. I personally love Elementor and the number of integrations. No doubt you'll get addicted, it's a matter of time...

I switched over from divi last year, I can build websites SO much faster with elementor.

Divi has been VERY frustrating the past few years, they still force us to download all the templates from the ancient blog, and don't have a way to import them all at once.

Elementor is such a better agency perspective, and it is so much more stable.

I've tried them all and chose to standardize on Divi years ago. They'll all go tit for tat with features, but it's too much of a hassle to try to maintain licenses for every builder. Divi support wins hands down.

Over 20 years, I have used extensively Elementor, Cornerstone, Bakery, Site Origin and DIVI - whilst I like aspects of them all, once you get to know them, they're all quite useable! Elementor really shines with the Pro upgrade, but you have to pay for it EVERY YEAR as a developer. The Deal DIVI has with lifetime "unlimited sites" usage is unbeatable so having invested, I now use DIVI exclusively. It also has amazing controls once you learn it! If they can fix their form builder to allow file uploads, it'd be perfect!

This piece of content was very interesting Mark.
It's like those high level martial artists that try to grasp a new fighting style and look a bit helpless. We (the commun dudes) love it!
I tried a few years ago the Oxygen builder and I gloriously fail. Well, now with AI capabilities I guess we are close to «prompt» the site independently of the builder.

I bought Elementor Pro last year to give it a go and lasted a week. Was so frustrating to acheive the simplest design and didn't find it intuitive at all. Have the license sitting going to waste

I must confess I was feeling like you a couple of days ago. I had to work on a website which runs under Elementor and (as a very long time Divi user) I was confused! The UI are both similar... but at a same time so different. And as the website I was working on uses the free version of Elementor, many settings were missing. Frustrating.

At a first glance, I tend to prefer Divi, but maybe that's just because I've been using it for such a long time that I am reluctant to change ;-)

What I do like in Divi is that it is both a theme and a builder. That is so consistent. No need for an unnecessary third party theme. You can create your own Divi child theme and have everything under control. With Elementor, you need a theme, Elementor and your child theme. This adds a layer of settings and possible conflicts.

I'm definitely a Divi guy... looking forward to the next gen Divi 5!

I have both Divi and Elementor, but I've used Divi so much, and it is my preferred theme/pagebuilder, but I also have Elementor Expert, though I had it grandrathered at 1000 sites. There are a couple of sites I want to work with it on. My opinion is that both are good, but they do work a little different. It's, as you say, a little tricky to learn (and patience is required to lean both), but good to have in your skillset. Not really sure about their forms though if they go through. Divi's goes through on a test than Elementor as far as email notifications go. Happy Holidays Mak to you and yours!

I am using elementor since 2018. Small web design agencies mostly use elementor.

I use both Divi and Elementor. Each has their advantages and disadvantages, the main drawback of Elementor being its pricing. The Elementor interface is actually much more intuitive than Divi's once you are used to it and far, far quicker and snappier (at least on my setup it is). You can get around the header/footer not being editable on the free version by using plugins that allow you to edit these or by using a theme such as Astra that allows you to edit them.

If you want to add two buttons in a row. If use the old section column, you can add an inner section there(with two columns), or the new container, with two buttons, change their direction to one row, and center them in the middle. Is it right? DIVI user to Elementor.

I had to update a client's website built with Elementor recently and it was a nightmare finding my way around it. It's not as intuitive as Divi and some things like adding text with paragraph spacing could only be achieved by manually inserting html codes. I'm sure some people find Elementor works for them, but comparing my first experience with Divi and first experience with Elementor is like chalk and cheese.

Could you please do a REVIEW on DIVI FLASH? Is it worth it. Will it save time creating pages?
Thank you for all your videos and great information.

LOL, you sound like me trying to figure out Divi.

While I prefer the Divi UX experience overall, it's lagging in the implementation of a container module, with the flex css. And that you can't use a row inside a row. I know that this will be solved with the version 5 of Divi, but they should have already adressed this issue.
