Elementor vs Divi, that is the ultimate question! In this video I compare two of the most popluar page builders in the world to help you decide which one to build your website with. The categories are:

1. Interface and Ease of Use
2. Module Customization
3. Pre-made Templates
4. Price
5. Overall Recommendation

I think Elementor and Divi are not the same. Elementor is a complete page builder. Divi is a theme with its own page builder. If you use DIVI you are stuck with the theme, if you use Elementor you can choose and need to add a Theme. Elementor has infinite addons and complements from third party developers like Crocoblock so you can fully customize a chosen theme. Divi is almost a close theme with less addons. Elementor is far more superior for me.

Round 1 -
Having trained a great number of clients over recent years in how to update their pages I can honestly say that Divi is not intuitive. The mouse-over and hover actions are confusing and slow to use. Most users are not designers. They repeatedly have to ask what each icon means and struggle to edit text. Dragging of margins/padding may seem like a good idea but I often have to fix these. I even have colleagues who regularly forget to save text edits (due to having the text dialog open at the same time as inline editing) and then complain that Divi is bugged.

Elementor to me feels faster to use and I love the docked side panel. When training clients Elementor they display much more confidence using the interface and they even remember to save their edits!

I have been a long time Divi fan but I see myself using Elementor more and more going forward.

Edit: stupid spelling, missing word...

The white elephant in the room is the coding for Divi that makes it a sluggish builder which adversely affects page load speed. for the average site this might not be an issue but for anyone interested in good seo it might be a deal breaker to the more astute technician who has a preoccupation with ttfb. Time to first byte (TTFB) is a measurement used as an indication of the responsiveness of a webserver or other network resource. TTFB measures the duration from the user or client making an HTTP request to the first byte of the page being received by the client's browser.

I used to be a Divi builder user but it's been a year that im using elementor. To be honest these days I am loving elementor. There are lots of features like custom header, footer, single post, archive post, dynamic gallery including custom posts, perfect mobile optimization and many more.

One thing I like about Divi over Elementor is it has a LifeTime Pro License. I think more and more I need to learn how to use gutenberg as well as html, css, javascript and php. Hopefully I can afford Elementor later on.

I was a huge Divi fan for a while but if you are not good at coding you will run into huge issues. My business partner loves Elementor. This video has made me download Elementor and give it a chance.

Dude your presentation style is amazing. I can’t believe that I actually understood features of Divi (which I am using for client work and unfortunately do not love and do not have fun with) just by watching the video. Sometimes in-depth tutorials take you much longer just to learn something. Especially the sidebar Divi thing I didn’t know about! I really dislike those little windows everywhere. Thank you!!

Price goes definitely to Divi. You basicly need the pro version of Elementor, because everything else is just a pain in the ass. I am using Elementor, but i am really tempted to switch to divi because of the lifetime deal.

Been looking at CMS and the difference between Divi and Elementor, at least you touched on some of the differences. I would be more interested in the exact differences like what will one do that the other will not, rather than the interface differences.
Thanks for the Overview.

Your recommendation should be use what's best for the job. I've built with Elementor with their theme, Astra, Beaver Builder, Divi whatever makes the job easier. :)

I just purchased Divi. I'm pretty excited to use it.

Divi is very perfect. Infact it works on touchscreen devices unless elementor which you must use mouse to drag the blocks

Great! I loved how simple you have presented their differences. I need not to watch another video. Subscribed!

Personally, I've used both and prefer Elementor. With my experience with Divi, it was buggy and didn't work as smoothly as Elementor. Elementor just works the way you would expect it to.

If I have a basic website built using a WP theme, can I simply add Elementor as a plugin and continue making changes to the existing webpages from there, or do I have to start building new webpages from scratch in Elementor?

which is the best for beginners like zero experience ( the price doesn't matter )

You are forgetting one major issue that Divi has. I am talking about the shortcode mess which means that if you want to switch from Divi to anything else then be prepared to clean up all the shortcode mess it leaves behind. Elementor does not have this issue.
