Flatsome Theme Vs Divi Theme Vs Elementor: Which One Is Better For eCommerce?

Each theme and page builder are capable of building out an ecommerce website. There are some cons and pros of each page builder/wordpress theme that can help you achieve your ecommerce website.

My personal favorite is flatsome. I think flatsome makes it easier to build out your ecommerce website. Second i prefer elementor. There are some neat features and you have a pain in the ass client, it would be ideal. Lastly, divi always works. The divi theme with its new theme builder can be a good choice for your ecommerce website.

Each of these page builders/themes have some pros and cons when making an ecommerce website. Let me know which one you think is the best!

I agree. I would say, if you want a complete website that happens to sell a few products use Divi or Elementor. And if you need a typical full e-commerce website use Flatsome.

It is worth adding that the Flatsome is perfectly optimized. Works like lightning. Divi (which I also use and love) needs a lot of work on this. Elementor - I don't know the performance.

Flatsome is best hands down for e-commerce save the pagebuilder. The main issue I have with Flatsome is lack of developer license. I don’t like the lock in with Envato.

I am using the flatsome theme, but it needs more customize options. I do not like how product/category pages look and many more small things. Do you know a way to make flatsome look better (product/category pages are most important to me) and how to add stuff to it? Or is it possible to use elementor for flatsome?

Hi Darrel, in one of your (superb) videos you talk about WP Child. My question: it's about an existing website I want to change to WP, but while I'm making that website the current one must stay alive. So can I make a Child website without having to delete the current one? By the way, in which video were you talking about a WP Child? Thank you for your answer.

14:40 thanks for pointing out that GPL, it saved me a lot of dollars buying every time same theme for every other domain.

I have tried all three and I personally pick Flatsome for every client. I like it. Lightweight, easy and good community.

I have both Divi & Flatsome license and have to agree with most of your comments. Out of the box Flatsome hands down will create the most professional looking e-commerce site with no or little additional css. Also agree with the comment about using the page builder for the header – it should be part of the theme it looks wayyyy more professional and responsive. Not that I dislike Divi but don’t think I’d use it for e-commerce after using Flatsome.

Great explanation i have all 3 my self and i totally agree with what you mentioned, I use all 3 for e-commerce and liking Divi the most for flexibility and moving around fast and getting things done, what is your opinion for a Blog would you think Divi or Elementor is best or something else? Thanks

also for divi, and also paid plugin divi shop builder, there is no way for quick view, and when we hover on product tile, it cannot change its image like in flatsome, thats a cool feature.. also no category filters..only product tile

Didn't know Flatsome. Impressive for speed (based on Angular) and convenience and decently packed with features.

Just been looking around for different styles of Mega Menu for a new niche I am looking at and stumbled across this comparison. I wondered whether you're opinion has changed over the last couple of years?

Hello, I had a query, in package the regular and extended license appears to me, I did not understand well that I have to buy the extended license to sell products? I would like you to solve that...

Hi Darrel, With Flatsome you have the possibility to have a (Main-) menu and a second one just above that main menu. Is Flatsome the only one with that possibility? (Where you say: "a lot of controle over the header). Or do you know other themes that have that possibility? Please reply.

Hey Darrel! Thanks for all your great content. I am looking to create awesome landing pages like the design code page you have shown in this video. I am wanting to create awesome landing pages for my clients with package options at the bottom. Where they can select the plan and purchase. Not a straight e commerce website. Is this easily achievable with Divi?
