Elementor vs Divi: The two biggest page builders compared

In this video I am talking about the two biggest page builders that have ever come around, Divi and Elementor. These giants of the industry have held the top spots for several years and today I am going to look inside why that is.

My first choice since 2016 is Divi. I´d tried Elementor with the Ocean WP theme an felt I had a knot in my brain. Making image websites that the customer want to keep up to date on their own, Divi, by my opinion, is much more user friendly for laymen. On the other hand, Divi comes inkl. much more flexibility ready to set up. I also see the business advantage in pricing. The performance update is a clear jump into the right direction and will surely bring more impact in the future. Apart of the performance update, there are some webdesigners (incl. myself) who know how to speed up Divi enormously; but Elementor can be speeded up as well with the right tools and skills.

I also fully agree with you about Elementor´s pricing. Thank you for this video!

Though this video is a year old, I do agree Divi is the better choice to make.
Yes Elementor was the first who run fast, and still is more intuitive. However, the the way Elementor is setup, is just a hazard when you use third party plugins for it (as it happened already).

Though it’s personal preferences, Divi would be a safer choice in pricing and stability over the years ✌🏻

The elementors price calculation will backfire. People in many countries can not afford it. So they will just use nulled versions, witch is not even illegal, because elementor pro is gpl as well.

For the countries of the former Eastern bloc, the price of $ 999 after conversion (taking into account typical salaries) is like you Americans have paid roughly $ 3000 in America. It's madness. There are many such not rich countries not only in Europe. They eliminated these countries completely.

I like both however Divi's pricing is hard to beat. Elementor however does have a 'free' tier that can give you a lot of what you need for simple sites. Divi as a builder does some things that drive me crazy like having to hit save multiple times and at times it can act glitchy. It has an unbeatable marketplace and great support. I'm starting to gain interest in block builders though (Kadence, Blocksy etc)
