fun project/challenge😁. For your custom code for the animated button/mouse...in the Divi code module, you need to wrap your css in <style></style> tags. The html code can be used just how you have it.

I started with DIvi (frustrating) moved to Beaver Builder (a bit better) then landed on Elementor Pro - interested in where Gutenberg is going - but it's too wonky for me still.
