4. It’s not bc of cutting out sugar and processed foods. I ate what you would call healthy and balanced before this. Mostly plant based, no gluten, no cheese, meat a couple times a week, no sugar except for occasional 85% dark chocolate and potato chips with sunflower oil maybe 1-2 times every 1-2 weeks. Then I cut those chips 3 months b4 carnivore.

5. 6 weeks in 30 days?? I have a timestone.

6. This was a temporary fix, the plan had always been to use it as an elimination diet then launch into the GAPS Diet for longer term :)

7. Yes I did just hit the Luddy. Took me forever to learn but worth it. Where my ludbuds at?

Im not sure how much the only meat diet actually makes a difference versus just cutting out sugar or processed foods, but surprising results

Abilities: I didn't gain much, just super strength and levitation. I can also bring stuff to me using my mind

Biologist here and i want to clarify something considering the gut microbiom. Yes broth can help improve it, but considering the meat diet, one should generally stick to very lean meat. An excess of animal fat can heighten the amount of harmful bacteria that cause for example IBS etc. Also i would recommend some type of fermented food (like yoghurt) and fibers as they promote healthy gut bacteria that act as an buffer to negative ones that are for example linked to bowl cancer etc. I am happy that this works for you. However one should consult a doctor before starting this diet as it can worsen symptoms if done incorrectly.

My mood swings have leveled out:

"I'm still crazy, but less crazy" 😂😂

My dad has been doing this for about a year now and he’s had arthritis since he was 20 and now he’s 57 and he said the majority of it has gone away, he almost never gets sick, has way more energy, his skin cleared up, and he said his joints don’t feel like they’re failing, and almost any time he eats something other than meat he feels like shit.

People have to understand that you will get a lot of these benefits when you stick consistently to a laid out, healthy diet plan. The discipline it takes on top of the fact you're eating healthy and in a proper caloric deficit/surplus is huge for physical and mental health. When you have your life together like this, it is incredibly empowering.

Edit: To add on to this, I'm not saying that this diet isn't actually helping, just pointing out lurking variables. People are very quick to jump on fad diets and many of them aren't sustainable, difficult, or don't really work. At the same time, people expect super fast results and never give themselves a chance to dedicate time and effort into it. My statement was moreso to encourage people to dedicate themselves, become disciplined, and health is more than just a diet.

My mom does the carnivore diet and she’s like 2 years into it and it absolutely shocks me what it did for her. She used to have Lyme disease and you never really fully recover but she lost soo much weight has worked out for about a year and a half and she is always up at 4:30 and in bed by 9 and she’s on top of everything. It’s very hard to do but I’m trying to do the same thing

To all those commenting in the 30 days six weeks thing, he says,

"Energy was up and down over the course of the 30 days but by week 6 I had more energy.. etc."

This isnt a confusing statement, he said, during the 30 days it was up and down and hes implying he continued with it for longer and by week 6 he had more energy.

I started it in January, with some intermittent fasting worked in, and so far I'm from 324 to 281, today

Just a note about the weight loss, a good chunk of that will be water loss owing to the reduction in carb intake.

Carbs increase the water weight in your muscles. So you get a big drop in weight to begin with going into a ketogenic diet, but then the weight loss slows.

If you start eating carbs again, your weight will increase rapidly as your muscles gain water weight.

I am 20 days into carnivore and I can confirm that once you get over the break-in period, there are remarkable positive changes that take place. Not sure if I want to do this for the rest of my life, but hopefully it gives my body some time to heal from whatever is causing my cognitive issues.

You also have to take into consideration of this guys diet before hand and his daily routines. He looks fit, and was probably eating relatively healthy beforehand. There’s also the matter of body chemistry and his own personal health. Strictly carnivorous diets aren’t fully sustainable for the long run, but if it’s for a short period of time, then knock yourself out

And for all the kids out there, just because something works for someone else doesn't mean it works for you

It could also be attributed to keto and no sugar, but good on you for sticking with the diet!

I'd be interested to see your blood work. Like if it created a deficiency in anything that you should have at a certain level. Also what your cholesterol was afterwards?

i love how people spend their time whining about fruit based diets or raw diets but the second it's manly MEAT diet it's totally okay.
Balance is key. The hypocrisy is just ridiculous though.
