Thirty days of going vegan is in the books and I have to say this one was a bit more difficult than keto for me as it took me out of my comfort zone. This Vegan 30 day challenge certainly surprised me in several ways and at the end of the day, I think it is a reasonable diet to follow as long as it's planned adequately.

If you have an idea of something you want me to cover in depth, please let me know because I take your requests seriously. We will be back with more Doctor Reacts Series & Responding to Comments so please submit more names of shows/episodes & questions you'd like for me to watch. Love you all!

I am not a doctor but I think your bloating and gas problem was because of too much fiber, this is a very common problem among beginner vegans.

As an Indian I actually find it interesting that a lot of people struggle with vegan diets considering that Indian cuisine is mostly vegan plus ther are a LOT of options There is a dish for almost every vegetable!

Does anyone else find it adorable that a Doctor feels self concious about his own gas but probably tells his patience and viewers it normal and not to feel uncomftorable about it lol

I was vegetarian and I switched to vegan(99% plant based food) almost a month now and my body thanking me a million times to rid off all dairy foods in my diet. I don't starve myself anymore and I eat lots of fruits and all varieties of grains, beanst and veges ..
So good, really so good.. I feel light and so much energy.. Thanks God my 1st time in my life I feel healthy..
I was doing clean keto diet but it didn't last longer, I felt sick and dizzy always..

One thing about the vegan diet is it has taught me to appreciate veggies a lot more. I grew up with steamed brocolli and potatos as the usual veggies. No seasoning or anything. Now i know how to make veggies taste good, and they’re amongst my favorite things to eat. Just gotta learn to cook.

It is hilarious to watch a doctor be embarrassed about farting. 😂

When you start following a vegan diet you will bloat and you know… but eventually your body will get used to bigger amount of fiber and and those things will go away. I’ve been vegan for 4 years now, and when i was on 2nd month i guess it stopped bothering me and i don’t experience it anymore🙂

I have been a vegan for 27 years and I don't find it restrictive. It has actually opened my mind and my taste buds to a world of new ideas!

9:25 - "If you want to disqualify my 4 week vegan challenge because I ate honey, so bee it." Pun intended? 🤔

Vegan for 2+ years here.I totally understand these struggles. And I feel like because you probably transitioned overnight, it's normal that soo many stuff felt off. Ideal with be to start swapping animal products with vegan ones step by step and hopefully that would smooth the transition. :) And as for the meal prep - absoluetly true, and almost a necessity if you want to be sure that you are getting all the important nutrients and not undereating or eating junk food that messes with your body. Soo happy you tried it! Love your videos :)

I’ve been vegan for nearly 2 years now. Great to hear that you tried it. My results found me actually eating MORE and felt a huge energy boost. I had some gas at first too, but it settled after about 2 months. Lol

I was whole food plant based for 25 years. I had a mental breakdown a year ago and went to see the doctor. I was deficient in many nutrients, iodine being extremely low. I began incorporating eggs and grass fed/A2/organic dairy, while still maintaining a high vegetable intake. It took a few months, but my numbers finally came back into normal range. I feel much better. Using conventional dairy makes me sick and mucousy, but as long as it is non-homogenized, light pastuerized, grass fed, A2 protein and organic, my body is thriving!
