This problem is a very common problem and has a very simple and easy fix to it. You may receive this error while you are trying to start a program or open a file or folder on your Windows computer. And, simply gaining the required permission doesn't solve the error for a lot of people. This video will tell you how to solve this problem. dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

sfc /scannow

Yoo what's up? I have a problem. I bought a microphone and it has a jack 3.5 mm cable. When I plug in the microphone, in the sound controll panel my laptop( Lenovo Ideapad 3) recognizes the mic as a headphone. The mic isn't working and there is no sound in my laptop. If anyone can help please help!!

If you downloaded a program called, "Advanced System Repair Pro, " this is what is causing the issue you're having. I was getting this same error message today. Only when I thought of, "what has changed since the last time everything worked correctly?" I thought of installing this program the night before. Right after I un-installed it thru the control panel did everything start working correctly. I mean, right after this program was gone did all of my programs that wouldn't open start to work correctly again. Hope this helps.
