I started using cup since I was 15. It took me 20 minutes to master using it, but it was all worth it. It's been 5 months and I didn't use pad since then. I use cup for the first 5 days and pantiliner for 6th and 7th day. If I didn't have pantiliner, I even used cup for entire 7 days which is totally fine. I love the combination of menstrual cup and period panty.

I’m so scared to use this because I have no idea where to put it or if the blood is going to spill. It’s cheaper and better for the environment tho

Period cups are great, but I just cant😂. I can't even use tampons. I won't let anything penetrate me.

Have had 2 cycles using mine (3 soon), wouldn’t have been able to do it without this channel. Thank you, the switch is awesome!

Hey gals, from someone who's very small down there as an adult, it's not as bad as you might think. There are super flexible soft and extra small cups too, like they come in all shapes and sizes.

But also, there are environment friendly reusable cotton pads that snap onto your underwear! I totally get that feeling of not wanting something down there esp during a period, cramps hurt and even pants being too tight is uncomfortable! You have options and don't let anyone shame you for choosing pads!

Im actually scared of using them or anything going in my v. I never used a tampon as well. It seems like they hurt

I'm 13 and got my period at 11, I mostly used underwear at first but once swim season came along I used tampons. My mom uses cups and was strongly urging me to at least try, and the first couple times I struggled, but live fully switched and it's a life saver. You can't tell it's there, you rarely have to change it, and it's so much better for the environment. I'd say it's almost like riding a bicycle, and I strongly recommend it for everyone.

I’ve used a menstrual cup for 7 years and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made tbh

They missed the whole point about hymen and it's build, which are varying. That's why using cup or tampon can hurt. Okay, you can fold a cup in a smallest wrap, but when you need to take it out, it always has to be it's actual size to prevent spilling:))) So, girls, sorry for the next sentence, but if you feel okay with ✌🏻 inside your V, than you'll be fine with the cup, without hurt and discomfort. Cup is a really game changer and saves you a lots of money.

If yall don't want the cup or even tampons, but still want something sustainable, period underwear is great

for those worried about spilling it and where to rinse it when you’re out in public: you dump it in the toilet! also the great thing about cups vs. tampons is that there isn’t a risk of TSS, so as long as it doesn’t overflow, you can leave it in until you get home/to a private bathroom. i used to be able to go to school with it in, and never have to take it out and rinse it until i got home! so no worries about rinsing it in public ☺️ they’re amazing once you get the hang of it, because they save money, they’re better for the environment, and they’re safer for your vaginal health! i highly recommend getting one if you are considering doing so 🥰

Using a tampon scares me 90% of the time let alone trying to use a cup- I don't like the feeling of putting anything up there (so I only use tampons when swimming)

I also dont understand period cups- how does it stay in place? How does it not spill? What if it starts to overflow?

As a 15 year old I have been using this for a year or so, it never spills and I only have to change it once a day!!! It's so good and comfortable I forget I'm on my period 🌸
Never be scared to try something new! you never know you might love it <3

I was cursed with a small opening. I can’t even fit two fingers so there’s no way I’ll be able to get it out sadly

Been using menstrual cups since my mid-20’s. I’m turning 40 this December. Love it!

Anyone else scared of suction? I bought one but I'm too scared to use one! I don't wanna get it stuck in there but it being vacuumed in place🤣(I probably sound so stupid)
