don't be alarmed if u take it out and see two layers of colored fluid. the plasma separates from the red blood cells. so there's a clear layer (plasma) on top and the red fluid (red blood cells) in the bottom layer.

In my country- South Africa, its distributed to school girls in impoverished areas as some girl miss school because they dont own or cant afford sanitary pads. Its a really dope NGO called the "Mina Cup". #girlpower

I really want to invest in one, but I'm also very iffy on it. I heard that the only way for you to leak is if you didn't put it in properly, and I feel like I'd do that way too many times.

TRANSGENDER AFAB FOLK!!!! The diva cup is really good for transgender men and AFAB non-binary folk that present more masculine because you can go to the men's washroom and you don't hear the annoying crinkle of opening a tampon or pad wrapper. You can leave it in for a lot longer than a tampon and it also means a lot less awkward trips to the grocery store since it's re-usable.

I highly recommend menstrual cups. I've been using my Lena cup for over a year now (only need to buy one cup). Very happy with it. Don't have to spend money each month on tampons and disposable pads. There's also a bunch of different types of menstrual cups, so I would research it to see which one might be better for you. They also usually have two different types, small and large, which is dependent on whether you've given birth or not.

Menstrual cups aren't gross, they don't have that smell that tampons/disposable pads do, there's no risk of TSS like with tampons, and they're better for the environment. Also, don't need to be spending money each month on disposable menstrual products. It's really changed how I handle my period, it's so much better now.
