How can they refer to a person as someone's leftover. A human will always be a human and all these technical perspective to dating is silly.

Depends on the friends chemistry with the ex. If you see that they actually might be the one for your friend. Then let it happen.

I personally don't see the problem. I have a friend who ended up dating one of my exes a few years after we broke up. I've seen them together, and my ex is happy with my friend in a way they NEVER were with me. And my friend is happy with my ex in a way that he wasn't with any of his exes. It's obvious that the two of them were meant for each other. Why should my friend miss out on his soulmate just because I got to them first?

It honestly depends on why they broke up. Like if the ex was a jerk and was being disrespectful, then I would be very concerned if my friend was dating them

For ppl who say its ok to date a friends ex are the snakes who laying in the grass and waiting...The typical excuses "stopping a good relationship", " Being stingy and possesive", MAN GET TFOH WITH THAT....They said your "friend" why the hell wld u want to date some 1 they been with tht f'd up boundaries all around for the friend who dont mine and for the who think its ok...All I knw stay the hell away from me...Thsese ppl are dishonorable ppl...

I wouldn't mind if the ex was a good person who just wasn't compatible with me or with my friend. If the ex is a bust, I'd be concerned for the whole group of friends, who are about to get in some mess. Other than that, I'm 100% unbothered.

I'm on my husband's account. If I dated a guy in the past and we didn't work out if I thought that he and one of my girlfriends would be a good fit for one another I would encourage them to date. Why would that be a problem? The person is an ex for a reason. I want everyone to find happiness even if it is with one of my exes and my close friend.

It depends on the circumstances. In my case, it was definitely a no because me and my ex of 2 1/2 years just broke up and two weeks later, he’s dating my best friend so yes, unacceptable. However, if it’s been months or years, then it should be fine but definitely not days

Some women and men have no shame in dating their friends’ exes. I’m not into awkwardness and unnecessary fighting, and fighting over a man and principle is unnecessary.
