I listen Aus radio every single day. I can’t hardly understand what are they talkin about though😭 ‘How are you mate?’ Some ppl reply ‘I’m pretty well’
I just feel like ‘What does that mean correctly?’ It’s probably positive meaning coz it’s radio not between friends.
Luckily i got it today😂

Many American English speakers don't distinguish properly between "good" and "well, " but standard American English actually uses "good" and "well" the same way as standard British English does. Many people where I live will say "He don't talk English good." But, "standard American" follows the same patterns as British English in this instance. "He doesn't speak English well." (Or... "He doesn't speak good English.")

Hiya Tom. Your videos are amazing!! Thanks for that. Regarding this matter, how should I interpret the phrase ' Well done' or even "Well said." ?? I think I've understood almost everything but I'm confused with the use of "Well" in cases like these I mention. Would you mind giving a bit explanation to me about it?.. I highly appreciate it alot!! Colombian living in LON. Have a great day!!
