She wasn't listening to what the others said. She did it by watching other's lips. And because she has probably trained herself for years, she can project people's lip movement by watching the subtle movements of their face muscle. Exactly like a trained athlete can easily project normal people's movement and make counter-moves almost simultaneously.

I loved this act. I turmed the show on right away this came on. I got home late from a friend’s house, and when I saw this on, I started laughing my butt off. This act is incredible, and I cannot wait to see what else she is going to do in this competition.

There is an episode of Dr Who where an alien disguised as human starts repeating after dr who his speech. Delay time gets shorter and shorter, to zero, synched. Then the alien starts anticipating what drWho is about to say. Then alien controls drWho who is forced to repeat after the alien and take action based on what he was forced to say.
