My question is: Why aren't pediatricians diagnosing and treating this condition when patients are still in developmental stages as children? Numerous adults suffer from this condition, myself included. Now at age 60, I'm miserable with knee problems. My case is mild and probably could have been corrected as a child without surgery if my pediatrician would have been competent. Now I'm 60 and probably too old for this type of surgery. In the severe cases presented in this video, how in the hell did the pediatricians not see this??? Sure seems like medical incompetence and neglect!

I had this done to both my knees.
But when I got my right knee done I also ended up tearing my ACL so the surgeon did both Surgeries on fixing my knee. But during surgery while fixing the ACL the inside outer of my knee shattered so they rebuilt my knee with a osteomety.
I can totally relate. I still each morning smile to see to straight legs.

I am so glad for my knock knee correction, thanks to Dr, Daan Botes. I still have to correct the right leg, cause the left leg was much worse than the right one. I'm 17 and I have knock knees and flat feet and I get a lot of pain from it and am fairly sure I'll be getting this surgery some time next year and I'm very glad. Hoping to find more information on it so I know what I'm in for with the recovery.

I had a meeting with a surgeon for the firat time a couple of weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a referral to a more skilled surgeon near me but when the doctor told me what needed to happen I started to tear up simply because this has been effecting me for over 2/3 of my life, it's effected my ability to get in shape, wear most "in style" clothing etc... and obviously it's PAINFUL as hell. And I didn't realize just how much it hurt me mentally until he told me we can fix it and all the thoughts of how much better my life could be started flooding in

I remember when I was about 13 I went in for a knee consultation but the doctor told me I still was still growing and had to wait i I never went t back due to fear of having a op and because I felt embarrassed. It’s effected me mentally all my life I now have severe pain in both knees i spoke to my doctor and said it’s due to my knees being knock knees and I was going to have a op many years back he said thank God you never did as your knee pain would have been much worse now so this put me off yet again from having the op . I also noticed you have no scaring I thought I would have massive scars right across my knees don’t ask me why that’s another reason I was put off . I am now thinking of going back to the doctors to ask if I can have this procedure done after seeing this thank you I know how exactly you have felt all your life as I have felt the same it’s effected me mentally also all my life ❤️❤️

Been to the doctor for bone and joint pain for the last 6 months and no one has said anything when looking at my legs especially when the rheumatologist said I have arthritis in my knees, I’ve had this since school and the arthritis in my knees have gotten worse, I guess I’ll be having a chat with my dr next week and inquire, wish me luck ❤️. I'm Turning 22 this year and yeah ii have knock knees💔, this can damage a person, I'm known to be that Guy that's always in his house doesn't go out unless needed, just because ii don't like the looks ii get when I'm out🥺💔...there's even certain Clothing that ii don't wear, , buh ii really like and they would most definitely look Good on me🔥, but ii can't because of these knees, they just mess up everything
In my Room ii only have a mirror for my upper body, that's how depressing this thing is🥺


And I'm working towards getting my Degree, find a job just to Fund my Surgery that all ii want in the whole world r.n🥺
