I need this surgery on my right leg especially. I wished my mother had had this repaired with braces when I was a kid.

I just had this surgery Jan 27, 2020..My Doctor did an excellent job on my left knee first..at another date he will complete my right leg surgery. I’m still in the healing process 3 1/2 months later..very satisfied..The first 5 days were painful..and I was up on my feet the same day of surgery..80% was covered under my insurance..20% out of pocket for me..3, 668.09 is my out of pocket..it may vary state to state, Doctor to doctor

Me and my daughter need this I’m crippled from it and because it’s not severe drs aren’t listening. My daughter always tripped when growing up and so did I. My cousin was diagnosed with severe tendinitis if the knees at 23. Why won’t insurances understand this can change ppls lives. How can I get help for me and my daughter and force the ins to help us. I believe ppl have all these hip, knee and ankle problems cause of this and drs aren’t helping them. Instead Drs are taking tons of MRI’s and X-rays looking for hip and knee issues when nothing shows cause it’s just the way the legs are facing that’s the problem. What kind of dr do we see for this and how do we get insurance to pay for this. It’s as if the only ppl who have access to the best drs and surgeries is rich ppl.

I had guided growth plates put in when I was 13 and taken out when I was 14. I’m almost 18 now and I struggle with constant knee pain and I can never do any exercises that involve bending and straightening the knee a lot. Really weigh your options and decide if the possible side effects are worth it!

I had an Operation to correct my knees more than 20 years ago. The legs still seem knock kneed. And on top of that I know experience unbearable pains. I still have the screws in my knees. And it is very painful by just a small knock on the knees. I'm in my early 40s but i can't stay on my legs for more than 10 min. Since the Operation was done at the time when technolodge wasn't so advanced like today, could there be a way to make it better for me?
