Well done to the boy for standing up to his drunken father.

It really upsets me seeing young people bullied by Adults that drink to drown their sorrows, but forget the harm they do to loved ones with mean words or even violence etc. This is a lovely happy ending. Thank you. ♥️

This video has shown me that you start to be able to understand people no matter what, who or what disability they have

If i saw something like this happen to anyone, i would stand up for the disabled person, even being disabled my own self. Ive been in this situation, not in a wheelchair though. Im a 61 yr old grandma and have been homeless since 2014. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have had it since 2009. It took me 32 years to get out of a very abusive marriage. And now today... i can stick up for myself and i would stick up for anyone else who's being abused. I may be all crippled up and homeless and broke but i still can use my 1 thumb to to type in 911! Thank you for this video

We all can relate to things like this when something unexpected happens to someone we love. However, turning to suicide or running away from home are not the answers to solutions. I can't imagine how poor Carter lost his wife and his son became disabled in this script. It's never easy when you lose someone you love, and more importantly, don't take your anger, pain and frustration out on anyone as it leads to nowhere! And Generation Hope, it's real good to see you upload videos. Keep up the great work!

I am so glad Carter turned his life around and decided to stop drinking. I also love 💕 how he apologized to Ben and promised to be a better father.

I feel sorry for Carter, but what he did to his son Ben, is unacceptable and the way Ben yelled at his father when he said: "I wish that you had DIED instead of mom" hits real hard, Carter should lay off the drink and thinking about his son and be with him like a true father, driving under the influence ((DUI)) is a serious problem

I can totally agree that the dad got upset, but his son has a bright future ahead of him.
