7th Grader Stops School Bus After Driver Passes Out

A Michigan seventh grader is earning praise for his heroic actions on a school bus. Before his school bus driver can pull over due to feeling dizzy, she loses consciousness. That's when 13-year-old Dillon Reeves jumps into action and saves the day. He grabbed the wheel and pressed on the brakes, which brought the bus to a halt. Now, Reeves is receiving the hero's treatment at his family's home. Inside Edition's Les Trent has more.

After I saw how calm he was and how he directed the other children to call 911, I immediately thought, “He’ll make a great firefighter, EMT or doctor.” Glad to hear he’s considering one of those professions. He definitely has the intelligence and chill temperament. Amazing presence of mind for a 7th grader.
