Mugger Doesn’t Know What’s Coming When Victim Fights Back

This elderly man was not going to give up his money without a fight. Surveillance video shows him getting cash out of an ATM late at night, when a masked mugger appears out of nowhere. The suspect grabs the 77-year-old victim and demands his money. But little did he know, this thug was about to get his bell rung. The sprightly septuagenarian put up his dukes, old-school style, and made a gesture as if to tell the mugger, “bring it on," before pummeling his attacker with punches. #InsideEdition

my grandpa was like the old man, but he hit much harder. when he was 74 years old, we went in the park. someone tried to force him to hand over his money. he pretended to do so, but when the man came near, he knocked him out cold.
i was 6 years old and very frightened.

he taught me, not to be aggressive without reason, but to defend myself without compromise and absolute determination if necessary.

he always said: "be friendly if possible, be strong if necessary" i loved him, the old man.

When I was young someone tried to grab my Grandmothers handbag in broad daylight. She thought 'oh no you dont' and started smacking him round the head with her walking stick, and he fled empty handed. They made folk much tougher back in the day. Bless her soul.
