I know, I know. Julia Child would not approve! But this recipe for quick and easy Sautéed Mushrooms comes in handy when you don't have the time (or the patience, for that matter) to sit around and layer your mushrooms in a single layer in the pan. Sure, you might not achieve that beautiful brown crust. So, if that's what you're going for then this recipe is not for you. However, I'm here to tell you that these simple Sautéed Mushrooms are still wonderfully flavourful and so easy to make with hardly any time and definitely no patience required!

You can use these Garlicky Sautéed Mushrooms for so many things! Including eating them as is by the spoonful (guilty as charged!). Add them to burgers or sandwiches, throw them on top of a delicious steak or juicy chicken breast, add them to your morning eggs, frittata or quiches, add them to pasta dishes or tomato sauce, have them on toast with fresh herbs and cheese or add them to soups and stews to give them that umami flavour and meaty texture. TO MAKE THESE QUICK AND EASY GARLIC SAUTÉED MUSHROOMS, YOU WILL NEED:

1 pound Mushrooms (such as white button or cremini aka baby bella), sliced
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Butter
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Fresh Chopped Parsley, to taste
