When it comes to mushrooms the last thing you want to do is add them into butter or oil without first cooking them out. Mushrooms retain moisture and you should cook them raw until golden brown then add butter or oil. Doing so will ensure the mushroom isn’t absorbing the oil or butter rather than cooking it and intensifying the flavour profile.

I was searching for this recipe and I found it and I made it. It was just delicious. I don’t know. Just salt and pepper will make this much taste and oh my God, the butter butter was amazing. What I done is. I also fried some breads on that pan, which was filled up with butter, and oh my God, it was taste heaven

I agree that mushrooms are great but without chopping them, they taste rubbery...chop them into small pieces so that they absorb the flavour

I used to hate mushrooms. I thought they were too rubbery. But I recently found out that I LOVE mushrooms! I have been experimenting with a bunch of recipes, but I've most recently just been sautéing them whole in butter, and they're so good! I love garlic and onions too, so I'm going to have to try this.
