Frozen shoulders is an inflammatory condition that causes inflammation on the inside of the joint lining shoulder and eventually leads to thickening and scarring of the shoulder capsule. To all who suffering from a frozen shoulder. I had a frozen shoulder myself and could raise my arm only 30 degrees. Tried many treatments but nothing helped.
Untill I started going to the swimming pool daily and did laps of breast stroke. Within a week I could lift my arm to shoulder height. After a month I could lift my arm fully.
This got rid of my frozen shoulder. It costed me less than a doctor's or physio visit and I got my life black as it was depressing before.
I am not a health professional and cannot give medical advice but this helped me, rather than wasting money on physio.accupuncture, cupping, braces, specialist, surgery, etc.

I’ve had frozen shoulder in each shoulder. The pain was so bad in the beginning I had sensation of vomiting that’s how bad it was. Was actually contemplating surgery. I’m glad I didn’t. Months of PT and home stretching worked. It took a year. It does go away but you must stretch it out and it’s painful when you do it but it’s necessary. Tylenol helped me not Advil. I also got a cortisone shot. I hope this helps you I know it’s so painful.

Great content. I am a physiotherapist who is currently suffering from frozen shoulder myself, and it is not fun. I have developed a few easy exercise programs geared toward the stages of frozen shoulder. They continue to help me along on this journey. Maybe they could help someone else too.

Yoga did wonders for my frozen shoulders (yes I had two at the same time) and mine was so bad that I couldn't even take on my shirt but I started doing yoga again and the range of motion, strength, and mobility started to come back and the yoga sessions really helped with the pain as well.

Why is this considered a "disease" instead of a condition?

I dont have any pain at all unless i move it. Can this still be frozen shoulder even if it has never ever once bothered me but only hurts with movement when i get to the max range of motion i can produce? Like it wont hurt until i move it to my max range of motion. If i move within that it doesnt hurt if that makes sense. This video states that in the freezing stage theres pain in the shoulder even without movement. Ive never ever had any pain in my shoulder or any pain without movement. I feel it in the biceps (not shoulder) and its only with movement. if i dont move or move within my range of motion i dont hav pain until i reach my max range of motion. Could this all still be frozen shoulder? Ive had one dr say it certainly is and another that thinks maybe something else. but like ive said my symptoms seem very different.

My four elder sisters had frozen shoulder. One sister had it in both arms at the same time and had steroid injections. One sister had surgery. They are all fine now. I’m now in the early stages of a frozen shoulder. It hurts when I jolt or raise my arm or when I overreach for something. A sickening, dull pain. Been given exercises to do and awaiting physio.
