The question is what is a frozen shoulder? Is it a capsulitis and following shrinking of the capsula? Or ist the ROM less because of spastic musculature? Or both and changes it from one to another over time? Why does it occur? What should be the dosage and the frequency of the mobilisations and the home programm? Painfull but not worse? after how much of time? I myself had a capsulare pattern after healing a tiny fracture of the tub majus. The scapula was making loud noises by arm movements probably due to the hypertonus of the m.subscapularis. With excentric abduktion loading exercises and very painfull angular automobilisations once a day I I reached a full recovery in about 4 months. But this reactive capsulare pattern is probably not the same as a spontaneus frozen shoulder? Inflamation factors like food or also psychological stress may be key factors and the cause why healing is so different?
